Joining a corp and the only difference visually is a couple chat boxes... kind of stale.

Would be sweet to see an alliance and corp logo on your shippy.
Alliance/Corp uniforms and character backgrounds
Be able to walk to your corp office in a station and meet your corp mates.
A shinier corp GUI
Ingame perks for CEOs and corp officers. A CEO command ship for example


Anyways ... Id like to see Corp life get some attention

If the only thing your corp means to you is a couple of chat boxes, you've joined the wrong corp.

In game that's about all it is.

Out of game there is Corp/Alliance Forums/VoiceComs/KillBoards(for PvP Corps) that the Corp/Alliance has setup without CCP.

Joining a corp means...

- you gain the ability to put up a Player Operated Starbase (POS).
- you can set up offices/hangers in stations where you can share ships/resources/modules/weapons/ammo.
- collectively gain wealth through the tax system
- if you gain enough competent people you have a collection of other players you can rely on more readily than others (both in terms of direct support and knowledge).
- your faction standings can be shared and used to everyone's advantage (or disadvantage).

What can you do walking around in a station that you also can't do chatting on voice comms... only better?

They get to lead around a bunch of mouthbreathers to either glory or failure... and laugh about it afterwards. Then kick/accept people into their little "cool kids club" on a whim.

Plus they can use the tax funds as their own personal wallet.

Emphasis on the visual experience Shocked

Apologies if didnt explain properly.

A update to the corp management stuff. Corp logo design
Ship paintjobs. Customized offices...Take information out of the spreadsheets
And incorporate more into the game.

Real-time killboards in the corp office. Changes graphicly when at War.
That sort of thing.

first, most of your stuff has been tossed around for years, CCP keeps saying SOON, but that could be anywhere from tomorrow to another 3 years.

second, customized offices mean WiS, which CCP already has indefintly on the backburner, second, a good chunk of CCP devs last i heard still think splitting EVE up among multiple games is better than ahving the entire game acessible through an EVE account, so WiS will NOT be available likely ever.

third, those vanity items you want, like paintjobs and etc, prepare for AURUM.

Still hung up on offices ...added functions like Corp camera views would be a blast and a great training tool.
For example, you could cam view a corp m8 while hes in pvp. Talk him thru the fight, offer advice etc.


The paintjobs ..... you know somebody would make a hello kitty titan heh...
