market, nullsec, bpc and jumpclones

right now, i'm doing exploration in nullsec, and have a couple of questions:

- so far i got like 100m worth of items stocked in nullsec, which i can sell in nullsec for higher price or in highsec for smaller price. the issue is that I SUPPOSE there is almost no market where i am (alliance zone), so i was thinking to ask a mate to bring the stuff highsec to sell it (correct me if i'm wrong): where is the place with avarage better selling prices? jita?

- i'm spreading a bit of jump clones randomly* around highsec, and i wanted to create an always docked clone with +5 implants to speed up training when i know i won't play for a few days. is there any suggestion i should take where to place this clone? i was thinking to have it stationed in amarr market hub, and then create a clone in the nearest station, so i have the +5 clone where i can but/sell stuff, and another character near it to move the stuff in case i need.

*: do you have any particular suggestion where to place them? i'm trying to spread them, nothing particular.

- from the exploration, i got a few bpc. i have no clue about production and their value, so i right click -> find in contracts -> see the avarage

Most of the Exploration stuff is sold and bought (like everything) in trade hubs. You can try the trade hub in your region, or alliance forums, but chances are people don't want it.

If you want to go the route to sell stuff in Highsec, just make an alt. character and have that character sell your stuff for you. This way you don't have to jump your main back and forth every time you want to sell something. If you want to create a +5 clone, don't put it in a trade hub, but in a University station so you can buy and inject skillbooks with ease.

^^This. Can't emphasize the above enough.

You may also want a jumpclone located in a nice quiet system you can mission in, in the middle of nowhere. Keep a mission ship (or two, or three, or more) there. If all else fails, and you are robbed blind, you will always have something to fallback on. Beats starting over in a rookie ship.

Jita has (by far) the highest volume, but not necessarily the best prices.

Jita usually has the smallest difference between buy and sell orders (due to more undercutting). And for many items it is the place with the highest buy orders and the smallest sell orders. So, if you want to instantly sell stuff to buy orders (or instantly buy stuff from sell orders), Jita is usually the best place to go (but there are exceptions). OTOH, if you have the patience to place your own sell order and wait for someone to buy it, you can usually sell things for more elsewhere. But they'll take longer to sell than in Jita.

thank you all for the replies.

@harrie and tau: may i ask why placing the +5 in an academy is so important? i mean, i could just jump to another character, buy/inject the skillbook, then jump back. it would only have 48h of training without implants, which is not that much, as i will spend some time roaming in nullsec/highsec without implants as well (so i won't stay 100% of the time in the docked +5 clone).

@thomas: thanks for the info, then i will go to another trading hub (like minmatar or amarr) to sell my stuff, as i have no haste to sell the items.

edit: btw, i'm buying the +5 implants in a trading hub, then i will need to move the character to an academy with the implants plugged (so they can't be seen in the cargo, which i'm going to fly empty). i'm 99% sure that i won't be killed if my cargo is empty, anyway i want to do the best to survive (and therefore i learn something new about the game). so i was thinking to run an industrial ship (with level 1 skill). checking the structure+armor+shield hp, these are the best i found out:

amarr sigil 5100 hp
caldari badger 4250 hp
gallente nereus 4000 hp
minmatar wreathe 4500 hp

i was thinking of going caldari badger (i'm training minmatar fighting ships, but who cares) since i have all shield skills at lvl 2, and the fit would be warp scarmblers, shield buffers, speed boosts and smiliar.

The implants you have don't matter. It is about being able to obtain skillbooks without undocking. You may only need to spend at most 24 hr in the clone.

Any time you undock you run some risk of losing your pod. Not much in highsec, but it is there. Ideally you'd have your learning jump clone at a station that shares a region with a trade hub (so you can still engage in market PVP when desired) but that stocks skillbooks locally.

Skillbooks cost more at a hub and aren't available outside hubs and university stations.

yep, but i can alway jump to another clone, safely buy/inject the skillbooks, and then switch back to the +5clone. btw, if i buy the implants in a trading hub, then i need to fly them from the hub to the nearest acadamy. about this issue, could you give me an opion about what i wrote here:

I found that trading hubs usually do have the skillbooks for sale as well, even if a bit more expensive than from an NPC-seller.

Ultimately it depends on what you want to do with your clone. Just training? Yes, a "school"-station with direct access to skillbooks would be best for that. You want to trade as well? Then being in the station is more convenient than remote trading, imo.
