I assume my post will get buried by trolls, but heres my 2 cents anyway. Join a lowsec/null sec corp. Mine with buddies flying protection/scouting etc. Mining by yourself in highsec is very dangerous, as there is no way to deter gankers (you cant shoot them before they can shoot you). Make some friends, make more isk

There are more places to safely mine than there are New Orderers or gankers flying around. Find them using the readily available intel and make isk. So easy, even a caveman can do it.

some shield hardeners/extenders and a DC along with shield rigs and most of us gankers look elsewhere.

Ah ah Gulfonodi... if I recall correctly from my courier days, it's one of those systems that to be navigated to it requires a boring ass > 100 AU warp. Why anyone would bring a mining ship over there (they deplete cap while warping) is beyond me.

If there are any whiny carebears are those null-sec-pet-industry-corps which you mention. Unless they are there to RMT, then bots don't have feelings. Twisted (oh, and bots do insta-warp to safes / POS).

Dude, that's like, unpossible. Everyone knows, gankers just swoop in with absolutely no warning, annihilate even the most tanky barge, then scoop billions of ISK from the resulting wreck (used strip miners have that "lived-in" smell that fetches a premium on the secondhand market...think Japanese schoolgirl panties).

And how do you get ganked so often? Don't you know how to align? Or maybe you're just mining afk? Yes, you won't make much money while afk-mining in highsec, that makes the game so horrible! ShockedRoll

And afaik people with status below -5.0 will get shot anywhere in empire by concord. And no punishment? You realize those people ganking you all get killed by concord, right? There's no escaping concord... and if you do escape them (with an exploit or whatever) it's considered a bannable offense.

Agree with OP. CCP needs to make killing players have real consequences or they will continue to lose non PvP player subs. Their inaction on the ease and low risk of ganking is very interesting to say the least.

Its not CCP's responsiblility to make ganking higher risk

It is the responsibility of the player base
