I'm not a Spanish speaker myself, but I do live in Texas, which means I know a lot of Spanish speakers. They should be able to play the game in their primary language. Besides, it is a huge language. This isn't like, asking it to be translated to something silly like Icelandic..

And who speak German fewer people if?

according to the wiki it is like
German: 120 native + 80 second
Spanish: 410 native + 60 second
that's about a 1:3.4 rating

In numbers this is 3.4 times the money you make from German players = more money for the same amount of translation + you wont have trouble finding Spaniards willing to leave their country atm.

I don't speaka da spainish, but I'm all for making the game more assessable to other players.

Though I'm personally one who thinks with the multinational scale of Eve, and the fact that all the languages are spoken on the same server. CCP should cut a deal with Rosetta Stone or some other language software, so Eve players can get a discount.

HEHE. Eve players buying RS subscriptions using PLEX bought ingame. T'wold be beautiful, and your parents could never complain again that you can't learn anything playing videogames.

Judging from my own friends in-game, EvE players are more likely to BE those parents, rather than the children.

I think I mentioned, in another thread, how one of my girls loves the Enyo.

Maybe those parents might like to learn another language too. WIN WIN.

And I'm running on the fact that my college dorm has roughly 40 eve players in the 20-24 agegroup
