Whatever happend to CCP Eris Discordia?

Im guessing she's left the company, but when did it happen? and where did she move on to?

I really do miss her signature highjackingsStraight

GM Guard > I must ask you not to use the petition option like this again but i personally would finish the chicken sandwich first so it won´t go to waste. The spaghetti will keep and you can use it the next time you get hungry. Best regards.

Don't have to actually be fired to be shown the door. And two, you may 'lol wis', but it's the most commonly requested feature for Eve after 'Fix X broken feature'.

Iirc (and I probably don't), she was largely responsible for WiS around 2008, but moved over to the WoD part of the company some time after since that's where the bulk of the Carbon character development was being done. While her leaving coincides nicely with the release of Incarna, I'm guessing that it was more to due to them scaling back the WoD development.

Suggesting that she left because of “creative differences” over how the project was going or because it was already clear that it would be scaled back is largely determined by how much stock you own in aluminium smelting companies.

In the first 3 pages of 30 threads each, i found one wis related thread which was 2 months old. So basically what you're really saying is, "wis is the number one requested feature after literally anything fis related". Heh.

That's because most people are out playing the game and creating their own content instead of asking for CCP to create content for them. The WiS crowd is a special exemption to this.

Actually, WIS done right is just another tool and environment for players to create even more content.

Don't confuse the original concept with either the trash we received nor the moronic assertions of what it would be put forth by those that don't want it to begin with.
