would be super if ccp could comment on this Big smile

is there any form of work done towards this?
more of a capital miner rather than a capital booster like rorq with some sort of deploy mode
kinda like a super exhumer hybrid with the deploy modual that realy makes the ice melt and roid belts pop like candy
i jsut think something along thouse lines would be only logical as we got this huge ass capitals right, and what got the minerals... some bulky looking green brick thats cruiser hull. time to kick it up a couple of sizes and give miners something to really drool over (not to mention gankers Big smile)

ok so u implement something make it more player required not bot. like a strip miner charger that builds up more yield the longer it stays on the same rock, but u midlemanagement it somehow

If this was added, It would also be nice if they added sme sort of mineral that only capital class minning lasers could mine, and make the mineral very rare.

Other than that, I think a mod for an orca or Roc wouldnt hurt any, just dotn make it to good

This has already been discussed -- and CCP says it will never happen. There will never be a ship that mines faster than a Hulk. It'd obliterate the market; it'd be even worse than the current situation with most coming from bots.

With full boosts, implants, etc., a Hulk can pull in 3200m^3 per minute. There isn't any need for higher yield!

Active mining? Sounds like fun. Botters would find a way to do it within about 5 minutes of the design hitting SiSi.

You mean like we already have with the skiff and mercoxit? And if you mean one that is truly exclusive to the capital ship class, a mineral of its own and not an ore too, then that's just moon goo 2.0.

i did mention this before

a Carrier designed with fighter sized mining drone, but limit to empire type ore only so null sec can supports it self in production of T1 Ships.
Leaving Hulks to mine the Mid to high end minerals.

May have to make a Industrial mode or something so it would be a player tool and not a bot tool. Would then be restricted to be ing used in deep friendly space and under guard

Someday I will have the time to play. For now it is mining afk in High sec. In Cheap ships

mining carrier aint a bad idea truely, i could see that work, if it only could do like trit and scordite it be totaly worth it imo.
