One other suggestion that noone has mentioned is a regular geddon. From reading your op you say you have low skills (it appears took a fair amount of time off from eve and not training). You have one navy geddon fit with only 6 guns and the other is an abaddon with tech I pulses. This leads me to believe you may not have trained any levels of advanced weapon upgrades and thus you are having grid problems?

A possible cheap near term solution for a low skilled character encountering grid and/or cap problems is to use a regular geddon with dual heavy beams. They are very light on grid, are meta 4, and last I checked very cheap nonetheless. They use very little cap, especially with ship bonuses and levels of controlled bursts trained, but being beams you can still get decent range if needed to kill frigs at a distance before they get under your guns. Because they use so little grid and cap they allow the geddon to possibly fit an extra MAR or LAR if you are new to level 4s and think you need some burst tank in case you mess up or find your skills not enough for a particular mission.

The geddon has 8 lows and thus allows a dual repper setup with these grid and cap friendly guns. The geddon also gets a rate of fire bonus which works well with these guns. They do not do much per shot but they take a lot of shots. Two heat sink make these guns fire quite fast. Three hs, if you get more comfortable with your tank and can drop to one repper are even better. If you can train sentry drones you can fit this ship with 4 sentries and 5 light drones. I used curators and hobgoblins. Or I would fit 5 hammerheads, 5 hobgoblins, and 2 sentries. A drone link in the last high. I could then deploy 2 sentries and 3 hammers to shoot at ranged BS, and if/when the BSs got close under the tracking of the sentries I scoop the 2 sentries and deploy the other two hammerheads.

This is not a wow ship, but it is serviceable til you have skills and money for good stuff. I still use mine from time to time for nostalgia (of course now it has tech II dual heavy beams, tech II sentries, and maxed skills so it is mcuh better even if not the real killer other ships can be). All this advice is as against em weak rats (sansha, blood raider, rogue drones). If you are pulling gurista and angel mission rats all the time you pretty much have to train another race no matter what your amarr ship skill level is at.

******* BBCode.

Anyway, just saw your last post. Looks good. Train for tech II hardeners as soon as you can. The extra 5% of resist makes a difference. Smile
