Hi guys,

i have on my main char 1x plex when i click it and use "return to redeem items" can i login with my 2nd char (same account) fly to the station where i send the plex back to redeem items and pick it up?

im a little bit confused...asked allready ppl in game and some told me the plex will be out of game and only usable for cosmetic items or to convert it to AUR. dont wanna loose my plex, dont need cosmetic stuff =)

Yes, you can.

Those people are right in saying that it will be out of game, but it will still be in the redeeming queue so you can put it back in-game at any time you like. That's kind of the whole point of the redeem/reverse-redeem system.

The only real question is why. If it's on the same account, it doesn't really matter which character you're on unless you intend to turn it into AUR, which you're not. For all other purposes, anything you'd want to do could just as well be done through your main. I suppose you could save a little on sales taxes if your other character has better sklls, but that's about it.

Why? Because i was too stupid/noobish to think a plex is like a gtc and you can buy it everywhere you want. i learned it isnt! ^^
my main chars wallet is now at -550mio isk and there is no way to sell the plex (this time legally bought) at the market. even when i try to sell it to a buy order i still need 0,00 ISK. My plan is to redeem it with my second new char sell it and transfer the money back to my main char to get a positive wallet.

Bravo, I think this may be the first instance where somebody has successfully negated half the flaming that they would have otherwise received. Kudos on your self-reflection and bright, law-abiding future.

Yes. You can also contract it to your other character from anywhere in the game with a private contract because that's the way I do it - but that character must be in the same region to be able to accept the contract. If you're going to use the game time, you can be anywhere in the game, find the plex (type PLEX in the asset window), right click on the plex and add game time. There is not really any reason for PLEX to ever leave a station.

You can accept a private contract from anywhere in the universe.

And in the OP's situation, creating a contract would be impossible, as he couldn't pay the 10,000 ISK contract fee.

Indeed. OP isn't whining, blaming others or making up excuses. We in EVE like people who accept consequences for their actions and face the music, even if they were naughty actions :)
