The Guardian has an article on computer games in its comment is free section. The author of the article is Paul Mason who is also the Culture editor for Channel 4 news. He has an interesting angle at how computer games can help shape capitalism.

He focused in on Skyrim towards the end - the place he wants to trade and amass his wealth.

Eve almost has this setup, its just missing the stock market and trade in the future of the other big guys.
No i dont fancy trying to police that - however it does show shade sof policing itself, with an adept economist at the shares tab.

Id best add an addendum to the fact that in my first corp a smart guy used the share system to get himself a lot of tradeability and as far as i know, everyone got paid.

Yeah trying to keep a tab on Eve stock market would be tricky to say the least.

I think that you've misread the article. He talks about how ingame economies can help killing capitalism by finding alternative models, even the title states that explicitly.

I see it as more of playable model to further teach and reinforce the principles of capitalism. It can't sustain it's current model though. The Ouroboros that it is will probably soon take that final swallow of the tail.
