What's the longest time you've had a ship?

Curious:

What's the longest time you've had your main "active duty" ship? I mean a specific individual ship, what's the longest you've had it without getting it blown up ?

My main's had the same Stabber on active duty since... I think... 2008. His other ships die, but this one is lucky I guess.

low sec running mammoth from 2009 that runs low sec at least every week if not day.

I have been in hull 3 times with it.

4 years. Im pretty nostalgic so I kept the first shuttle I got after I died for the first time in EVE.

Cool

Well, I've had my original Hulk since 2008. I bought a second one for Nullsec when I was there, as the original has sentimental value (and I required a high sec mining ship).

I still have both of them.

A mammoth and a daredevil I've had for over 7 years. For some reason the mammoth has always sneaked past danger and the daredevli was the first of my exotic frigate collection and only gets flown for fun in the corps frigate races.

Dominix for 1 year, used it as a missioning ship at first but it spent several months in both 0.0 and WH space before getting popped by a bunch of russians.

My jag still has large rigs fitted, from the time before medium and small rigs were introduced. Love this ship so much that I grow more and more reluctant to epose it to any real danger.

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

I still have my original Ibis from... what - 4 1/2 years ago?

Ofc it just sits in my hangar gathering dust so can't really be considered active duty.

That would be my pve domi I used for high sec mission running when I was a noob... Somehow it turned to a dual neut domi during a war dec and since then I've been using that one during war decs, so that's probably around 3 years in service now. I've lost a lot of dominixes, but that one sort of avoided being destroyed. I rarely fly it now because there aren't a lot of war decs I participate in since 0.0 doesn't really bring any of them to our turf.

Both my Sigils are still in one piece since I got them as a reward for finishing the tutorial missions.

I've had a CNR since the day the CNR was the mission king (before marauders). Used it for everything PvE related for nearly three years, then i retired it. It still sits on my virtual home in... well.. the place i call home =)

But if you mean longest ship i've had that's easy. I still have my first merlin from when i joined EVE during Trinity. What's that.. 5, 6 years? Sorry, bad math...

Hm, oldest ship that is still seeing active use and not sitting and collecting dust in a hangar somewhere? Must be my Fenrir freighter, has it since freighters were introduced. Once it did a five jump trip through low sec.

I have one particular battlecruiser with an extremely questionable setup that I've been consistantly using to kill people for 9 months. It's frankly amazing that it hasn't been blown up yet.

Well, I just recently replaced my Covetor and Mammoth with a Hulk and Mastodon, respectively, so...my Apotheosis? From when it was given as an anniversary gift. I tend to sell and buy ships rather frequently. BS's for L4s, for instance. Started with a Geddon, rigged it, contracted it and bought an Apoc, rigged it, contracted it and bought a Mael, rigged it. Which I might later contract and buy and rig something else. But my indy/mining ships tend to last the longest, since the only reason to get another one is to upgrade.

Failfitting ships since 2007.

Scorpion Navy Issue

had it for 4 months (1/3 of my whole eve career)

It was recently destroyed by a wormhole corp jumping into null to a system which they had bookmarked all the sites....

I had an old CEO build me a Raven when I was just getting started. I think I will train up Cruise Missiles V and use it again. I currently use a Maelstrom.

My Raven the Nevermore has been with me since 2 Months after I joined EVE.

My first Rifter I aquired on day 2.

I've always had 2 at any given time, and the other Rifter is always the one I die in. That one I've fought my largest battle in, went into null with first, and joined my first corp with.

I'll have it forever <3
