Client Hangs; Partial Freeze

Been having this issue for the last three days now, where the game halfway locks up. I can still watch things happen as they normally would, but no commands I issue have any response from my ship or drones.
Warp won't activate, ship won't change direction, modules won't activate/deactivate, targeting fails to complete, can't quit game to start an ewarp... it's like those few moments before a disconnect, only I don't DC.

The game sometimes comes back to life after a few seconds, but several times it has taken several minutes, and I have to alt-tab out to my task manager to "end task" and force the game to quit.
I cleared my cache, reset both my router and my modem, and even quit background applications not related to EVE and ran a virus scan on my machine.

The problem persists. It seems like it's on the server side, and not an issue with my own computer... unless it's Windows 8 being stupid, again.
Is anyone else having this issue, or anything similar?

Try running with LogServer (https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Logserver) and file a bug report (https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Bug_reporting) - maybe the logs will give me a clue.

If the game appears to be running, that is things move on the screen and the game isn't completely frozen it may be you intermittent connection issues. There are threads on this forum discussing disconnects - maybe some of the workarounds discussed there may help you, even if you don't experience a full disconnect.

I will start doing this, today. See if I can nail down a few examples.

This actually wouldn't surprise me in the least. Mediacom (still better than ComCast) is a terrible ISP, but this really is the first time I've had this problem, and I've been using them for over 2 years.
