• Orbital Strike changes coming December 10th - Forum discussion
With the Uprising 1.7 expansion for DUST 514, to be deployed December 10, we are also going to improve the EVE side. Orbital Strikes will be reworked, some restrictions lowered, the whole experience improved, LP rewards added as well as mails for killing DUST mercenaries introduced, and communications between EVE and DUST teams made better. • Building a Balanced Universe - Forum discussion
CCP PrismX reveals in his latest dev blog improvements to the static load balancer which runs each downtime on Tranquility in an attempt to balance the expected load most equally across all available CPU cores. • Announcing the New Eden Open II - Forum discussion
The New Eden Open II, a cash prize tournament in tradition of the New Eden Open with a total prize pool of $25.000, will be held from February 1 to February 16, 2014. 32 teams will fight nail and tooth in exciting matches to win the cash prizes. Fanfest Early Bird Tickets Almost Sold Out!

Game bans factor in multiple reasons

Accounts in EVE Online are usually not banned considering only one piece of information (for example the IP address), but instead the team looks at a wide range of information. Be assured that we do not lightly ban anyone on a random note.

SDE is now available. Rubicon 1.0.4

All hail CCP Creber Cattus as the SDE was updated to Rubicon 1.0.4 - this allows third party developers to update their tools and to let everyone build awesome applications and websites. The SDE is available here.

Emergency warp mechanics to be further investigated

After the Emergency warp bumping notification CCP Masterplan confirms that talks are going on to improve the emergency warp mechanic - but no time line or clear solution to improve this mechanic is available.

Good and bad standings for empire factions

Improving standings towards one empire faction usually lowers the standings towards one or more other faction standings with eventually nasty effects. However, there are skills to counter these effects and to keep bad standings in check.
