Navy Issue Dominix - Shield or Armor tank?

I've seen what appears to be an even split between players on whether to go with a shield tank or an armor tank on the Navy Dominix. Currently I've got an armor tank, 1 rep and 4 hardeners.

Which is better and why? (I'm sure there are pro's and con's with both, but I'd like to hear anyway)

Shield tank - more room for magstabs, bit harder to shoehorn on an effective tank and still have enough omnidirectional tracking links for your sentries without pimping the tank mods a bit.

Armor, more afk-friendly, more tank in general, less DPS, can be vanilla t2 without much trouble.

Both of these are assuming that you're going for the max dps sentry/sentry damage rig/425 rails fits, if you're going for heavy tank without the rails then it's pretty much personal preference.

I'm going to stick with armor, only because I've just bought a bunch of faction hardeners, propulsion, and a rep. :)

If you're looking for the best performance (and in missions the only real way to measure this is isk/hour) then you want a shield tank.

If you want to run missions more easily/semi afk, armor tank.
