I hope they make a better way to address ship fittings in this post re-balance era.

EDIT: And yes... the fittings have saved me from hours of researching, and also resulted in the loss of tons of isk. hehehe

In other news we also have our eyes on a very different approach to maintaining killboard accuracy, building player reputation, and attacking fakes. Currently nobody does it this way, and I'm pretty excited to see us make this happen. Maybe even, if my dreams are to come true, a revamping of the entire ranking system. One can hope.

Remove all hisec kills from the killboard.

2. Honestly, so is the API. No major public killboard is API-only, nor can they afford to be. Only one board at a time can maintain from any given character's/corporation's kill log API due to aggressive cache timeouts on CCP's end, besides which forcing everyone to make an account and go get a number they might not understand to even use your service is no way to run a business.

Soon, it might hardly even matter.

You do realize EVE-KILL / zKillboard gets in about 1000 mails an hour all via the API, with about 40 manually posted mails, of which 80% are api verified afterwards.

It's not impossible to go 100% API, but it's hard.
That said, it should be better once CREST comes around, less clicking to make keys, and more "login, accept that we want access to your kills" Smile

Not that it matters much how much BC improves, if they don't start being open with their data. Just look at zKB, we provide an API that can output data 100% like CCP does it, so you could put in a few lines of code, and reuse the API parser you already have working. Or you can go json, which is cooler. Blink
