Pod Death Mechanics - Broken.

I'm keeping this short and sweet. Personally i rarely if ever lost a pod before expansion . Insta locking thrasher in FW space is one thing. Insta LOCK anything even, that i'm ok with. I took a 2.5 month hiatus before the expansion and joined back up 4 days ago to see how this was going to be. In that time period I've had my pod killed 5 times. I didn't even fly around last night and the first night i was back. Every time i even get close to dying, i hit structure or half structure everything freezes. Then i hear the scram sound without even seeing my pod on my screen, then wake up in station. I use implants in every single pod, i have to for my very unique fits. If this issue isn't fixed within the week i'm just going to leave again, I can tolerate other people boosting to kill me etc, but keep in mind that ALL of the fights i lost a pod i was aligned the entire time and spaming warp knowing full well i lost my ship way before i actually did. But a tristan and CNH locking my pod while i was spamming warp and pre aligned and moving.... literally impossible. Yet they got me anyways. I've changed nothing on my computer, im running dual 3gb 384 gpu's with a 4.2 ghz quad core, i run my main client on a 26" hdtv. I used to be able to run 3 eve's at once with no lag and still play wow , youtube, and 6 more chrome tabs without a hint of lag. Recently i've had 1 tab of youtube up and 1 eve client and thats it. I know 110% it's not my side. If i have to replace my pod 10 times a day there's literally no reason for me to even want to fly.

Caught a couple of pods today. Most got away. Pretty ordinary ratio of each tbh.

This is almost certainly a problem at your end.

What i would recommend is using the game launcher to load the game in directx9 mode rather than the defailt DX11. Ive had long freezes when, for example, accessing the escape menu with the DX11 client as per this video. This was completely remedied by loading eve in DX9 instead of the new, useless, slow waste of time DX11 client.

He needs to lose more to appease the Black Rise sirens.

Clear your cache, and double-check your video drivers. I had a similar issue when they updated to the new transition system and did not notice Nvidia came out with a big update but was only "recommended" and not included in the automatic updates. After the manual check and update everything ran smoothly and have yet to lose a pod outside of null.

The problem is on your end with your computer. I have played with many instalocking thrashers/ceptors on the gate and pods still get away. Many times Ive blown up ships and their pods will instawarp if done correctly. Usually its only newer players who have their pod sitting there after their ship is blown up.

I spend all day flying around low sec and when I do lose my ship to a gang, if I dont make a mistake clicking on something I cant warp to, I can get out every time.

Also if you lose 10 ships a day that is a bigger issue, and you should join up with a corp that can teach you to avoid losing ships so frequently while pvping.

Confirming that even though you are 110% sure its not a problem on your end it is in fact, a problem on your end.

You make it sound like that's a bad thing. I've had a couple times in my eve career where I've had nothing to do all day, so I've gotten an early start on eve, grabbed a pack of beer, and just gone out roaming and fighting non-stop til late in the night. Yeah you lose a lot of ships, but you get a good number of kills and have a blast doing it. I see no problem with this.

10 in a day? Shocked and here I was getting sad about my back to back Ares losses.

I've caught a few pods with around 1600-1800 scan res, but not had any trouble getting my own out, and I've lost 14 ships so far this month D:

We did have a guy get podded 2x in 10mins on his way back to fleet after going afk, but I'm pretty sure it was pilot error :3 I notice the people i see getting podded that I fleet with tend to do it repeatedly... so... yeah.

Excuse me, but what the f*ck are you desu?
