As someone who hangs out in Help Chat a lot, this would be a FANTASTIC improvement. So many questions on whether this skill or that affects a module... /me shudders

Edit: Oh, and keep up the FANTASTIC work, Duchess :-D Didn't mean to imply that I don't <3 the stuff you've rolled out so far.

I just hadn't gotten around to taking a closer look at it. This thread is about the stuff in the dev blog and I just wanted to focus on issues/comments related to that first..

How hard can it be?

Edit. Better yet, remove aur completely from the wallet and move it to the NEX store interface where it belongs. That's the only time someone will ever use it... in the NEX store.

Good suggestion Rixiu about the AUR.

One little pet annoyance I have had is when you look at the ship skills - it only states it cannot be trained on trial accounts, it doesn't say how training the skill will improve your ships functionality, either in percentage or specifically.
Can I also mention about the message you get when you are about to dock - getting TOWED ffs. If that were the case - can I SEE a tug come out of the station and tow me in.
If that is to hard too do - how about saying "Hold on while we teleport you into a spare hanger"

Affects immersion for me

I just think nobody else is lazy enough to need 2 right clicks and 2 left clicks changed to a single click and a mostly useless button for something they use very infrequently compared to other changes this team could be working on that irritate more people more often.

also - do you really want to repackage and restack all your organization cans?

maybe the ability to repackage things inside of station containers would be nice....

the spaceship command skills don't have bonus descriptions in them because they don't affect every ship that requires them.

frigate skill does not affect destroyers or cruisers or battlecruisers or battleships or dreads or carriers or supercarriers or titans is the most obvious.

as for towing - i guess the message could be changed easily enough?

I enjoyed all the changes so far.
Altho i got 1 sugestion on the Skill changes, since your puting work in to it Shocked
how about insteed of having the standart messages like 5% per skill.

go like at level 1 this skill will give you 5 % of this
level 2 =10%
level 3 = 15%
level 4 = 20%
level 5 = 25%


i know its not really important but might help new players

More importantly, the ship skills have different effects for different ships. It is not practical to list all of the bonuses that the skill provides, especially not with the cruiser skills. The bonuses for ship skills are described in the correct place: in the ship descriptions.

Perhaps a note could be added to the skill descriptions instructing new players to look at the ship descriptions for the bonuses from the ship skills.

I didnt know if its posted yet....maybe its possible to get actual Bonus on ship Info. Like this: u have trained Minmatar Frigate up to Lv V. now the Info about the Rifter show the correct bonnus not the 7,5% per Skill Lvl, i would love this feature.
