Guristas Epic Arc - Spy Games - Unable to break the EM force field with interceptor dps

So I played through the Guristas Epic Arc, as recommended in an interceptor. And I am on the last stage, after deciding to go for smokes and mirrors, called Spy Games. The item I am supposed to retrieve is behind a large EM force field, that I cannot break with the dps the interceptor dishes out. So ... I am stuck. Asking for help in local is kind of waiting for a kill mail to happen. Taking another ship is not much of an option either because of gate restrictions - although I could fly an AF over, but I am not sure if that would provide enough dps for the force field I would rate out of the ballpark at close to 150dps. Any ideas?

enyo can pack 400dps, 500 overloaded. take that.

I completed the Guristas arc in a rocket Crow this week.
My missile skills suck so with scourge rage i only did 95 dps.

Hint: read the missions, tlook at the pocket, think and kill what you need to kill, brute forcing yourself true the FF is not really needed.

Are you certain you did not take the other branch. Because I sit here, looking at the forcefield, the cans are behind the force field, I looted all wrecks and no mission items .... so ?

Are you sure there aren't any targetable LCOs near the shield generator that can be popped (like those big round storage units)? Or another LCO that needs to be popped instead of concentrating on the shield?

I have not tried either arc since the rubicon changes but completed both pirate arcs in pre-rubicon ceptors, as well as in tech1 frigate (rifter).
It's the bunker that drops the mission item in Spy Games, but you will probably have to kill a bundle of ships and the force field to get to the bunker and its contents.

I guess I am almost a 'vet' by now. Hopefully not too bitter and managing to help more than I hinder. I build and sell many things, including large collections of bookmarks.

Dont kill forcefield, kill LCO inside instead, tractorbeam canister out of forcefield, loot, enjoy your gila bpc
