Is there still an onboard ship scanner? I flew through a few null systems tonight and I was gonna click for anoms... I couldn't figure it out, or is it gone?

Yes, but you don't need to click anything anymore. As soon as you open the scanner window you get a warpable result for all anomalies in the system.

Thanks. I knew some scanning things were new, but I hadn't been out of Empire space for months...

Maybe someone did the anoms in the few systems I tried to scan. I saw the FW sites through lo-sec, just nothing in null.

its possible that show anomolies is unticked on your scanner, and its also possible you weren't travelling through upgraded space where there might be 20 of them in 1 system.

Press the little scanner button, and one of the 4 options will be to show anomalies/signatures in space.

That way make it obvious if there are anomalies (green diamonds) or signatures (red diamonds) in your current system, as they will show up in space without you needing to open the probe scanner.
