So I'm sitting here not really bothered one way or another, but I'm not really impressed by Rubicon because it doesn't affect me.

While you're sitting there having no interest in a game you are obviously still paying for, I'm exploring in low and null, doing sites and lvl 5 missions in a ship I can reconfigure on the fly with a mobile depot (previoulsy, I'd have had to use a scout, now it's just a covert tengu). When i used a battleship, I'm dropping mobile tractors and scooping up loot I would have left on the field in the past.

I'm using my "Taxi-ceptor" to move around null sec with extreme ease instead of having to log on 2 characters (or beg in an alliance channel) for a cyno.

And later I'll be back to sitting my space-butt in a Typhoon Fleet Issue in some anomaly spamming heavy missiles from RHMLs at Blood Raiders of Sanshas just to watch them melt. And while im doing that one one screen, on the other my Stratios will be shooting lazors at the same rats on another screen (i know, I put lasers on a Stratios, I am heretic).

Half the time I read your incredibly sunshiny current postings and feel the overwhelming urge to call a Crisis hotliine and say "I don't know where he lives, just look up "Captain Tardbar" in the yellow pages".

You and I know that, but it's something about that dude's personality that won't let him move on and won't let him recognize where his problem is. All joking aside it's it's pretty damn depressing.

So many fun new tools in Rubicon that so many people can't figure out how to use.

I agree. I look at it and genuinely wonder.

People complain so much if the new update or content doesn't revolve around THEIR play-style. But with this expansion there is more PvE content with genuine loot. More PvP content and a radical change in the way fleets are going to be run with the new interceptors.

Hell, the last few updates didn't they do mining vessels and a change in Ice? So every expansion something new is coming out.

So again, what's the problem?

For me it's just an dispassionate statement. I try not to make objective judgements about an expansion so close to release. It's just a purely subjective and dispassionate statement, that this expansion didn't really do anything for me personally. It's not meant to persuade anyone to think differently about the expansion, claim it's a pile of crap or even say it wasn't good for the game as a whole. Just saying the additions mostly didn't excite me in any way, warp speed changes excluded, that MY EVE isn't better as a consequence and might even be worse in some areas.

I also don't expect CCP to take notice or put MY EVE as a priority. Just providing a single additional data point in their statistics about how the playerbase felt about the expansion and its features. Nothing more, nothing less.
