I... am having a hard time understanding what, exactly, this argument is about.

I am not sure, but possibly could be related to this.

I'm now regretting not slitting Kim's cowardly throat the day I had the chance.

I'm glad to know somebody else shares my regret on not taking an opportunity like that when it presented itself.

When faced with an itching wound, it is really for the best not to pick at it, pilots.

Perhaps it would be wise to just leave this be?

Uhm. I hope this doesn't go the wrong way, but I rather like Kim.

She makes me laugh.

So everybody suggesting to leave this alone? I'm not. I want more laughs.

Just kidding

I did that. It didn't improve anything, believe me. Softcloning.

For the first time since I started the conversation, he looks me dead in the eye. In his gaze are steel jackhammers, quiet vengeance, a hundred thousand orbital bombs frozen in still life.

He's only human, you shouldn't be so hard on him, Desiderya.

Who would be speaking about cowards, but not you, tribal Rella. You have been running from me so many times already. And you totally should have seen your face, when I disarmed you and took your gun. You had quite a nice run straight after.

Well, since you look more like Caldari, and not like this tribal Rella, who is too afraid of me, I would like to remind you, that it is not really hard to meet me either in space or in station. Location of my quarters are publicly accessible information, but if you couldn't find them or me in space, you could always contact me to get my location.

This opportunity is always open to you, so it is only up to you, take it or not.

Besides, I wouldn't mind teaching you second lesson.

You did... WHAT?!...

You know, I saw this recording, and I don't think it gives any credit to YOU, and you shouldn't bring it. I would gladely do same thing to you, and I can say absolutely certain, you CAN'T do it.

Try it again, it it will be you, who will need softcloning. Face me, or you are too afraid, loudmouther?..

Should I get the recording from the medical facility from our little meet and greet?
Or provide the security recordings from that little engagement between you and Pieter which had been witnessed by at least twenty some people?

Not that it will do any good, but Diana, you do need to know when to shut your trap and consider things a lot more carefully before spouting off and showing the rest of New Eden the fool you really are.

The problem is that most people believe they will STAY alive for softcloning. But it is just a copy, just like a clone copy of ours, when we are podded. We aren't resurrected. We die, completely, for our clones to take our place and continue our duties.

Because some of people believes that they won't die, they do really stupid things.

As for providing both soft and regular cloning technologies to gallenteans and primitive tribals like Rella, I believe it is the hugest mistakes the humanity committed. The capsule program should have stayed only for military purposes and should have never been released for regular civilian population.
