SUGGESTION: PLEX FOR SHIP SKINS/COLORS

Exactly like league of legends.

CCP PLEASE

Make different skins for ships (just the colors/decals/etc things), or even 100% able to be customized by the player, like the character customization.

How it works is:

1 PLEX for the ability to customize one ship (drake for example)

If you want to customize other ships, then 1 PLEX per ship.


Or you can have the pre set skins, and sell each skin for a PLEX.


Pretty simple.


edit:

Could also make skins with a different value so that theres some rarity in some of them.

for example

- a set of 3 different paint jobs (skins) per ship
- Class 1 paint job would be 1 plex
- Class 2 paint job 3 plexes
- Class 3 paint job 5 plexes


Yes I said 5 plexes, that way you know who youre looking at when you see one ;)

I think a PLEX is a bit expensive, why not use Aur, thats what its there for, isn't it?

That could be it too, but I think a PLEX would make it more special to have it.

We got aurum for that kind of stuff, the project was scrapped for known reasons. And now you come along and suggest something that's... not as good as CCP's initial plan... Ugh

A skin is more of a paint job available to you at all times.

Its not for ONE specific ship.

Its a paint job (skin) which you can use anytime with that ship kind, for example drake.

You choose your drake skin, you undock, you lose your drake, you buy a new drake, and choose your skin again.

You buy the skin, anytime you want it you can activate it on any drake.


OFC WE HAD TO MAKE IT A PERSONAL THING, AND PUTTING YOUR DRAKE ON THE MARKET OR IN A CONTRACT TO SOMEONE WOULD VOID THE SKIN JOB.
