So very much this. I'd imagine the average person who cares about their personnel wallet and corp wallet don't really give a rip about their AUR balance.

It's a meh'ish change, I guess, for corp alts... or people who just use the corp wallet as their own, but couldn't you remove the useless AUR hint and make it list personnel + corp?

Wallet Balance [ALT-W]
ISK amount
Corp Balance
ISK amount

A change like that would take the same four lines, and be vastly more useful to most everyone.

You can see all the system names if you mouse over the colored boxes.

no, it's not the same at all.
i'm talking about a different type of information

sure it add some nice things and it's good, but the list on the starmap allowed me to see ALL the systems on the way AT THE SAME TIME, without any more click, and where i was changing regions.
with that, i was able to easily change my way if my goal was to go on a region to check market (so i need the quicker way to it, not a specific system), or to see if i was going some some dangerous systems (example : oh uadema/niarja is on the way, be careful), or near some hubs (ex : i know this place, it's 1 jump from amarr, i could stop here a sec, or add a waypoint)

now i have either to check the mouse to all of them, or search the list on another tab, taking more time.

i'm also pretty consused by the new system which give the constellation and region on the next system every time, while before it was only telling it when it was different from where we were. now i have to check at each system if i have changed something, as it's always written. before you knew in one sec if it would happen.

the list that you removed allowed me to see way better the exact way to go though, to make arrangements more easily, and to see clearly what i would see on the way.
i'm terrible at direction in real life and in any game, and losing this feature make me feel lost, as it will be harder for me know to know where i am and where i'm going.

So with all the new improvements to the skill training panel could we see in the future a option to insert some skills to the training que via web browser interface? Or maybe you could add a authenticator for that? Its really ugly when your in a vacation or you don't have access to a computer with eve installed just to insert a SKILL BOOK.

I'd like to make a suggestion about improving a little thing in the UI - time left for completing a mission.

Currently, that info in the mission briefing window is not updated properly - it's refreshed only when you close the window and open it again or if you change a solar system. In my opinion it should be updated in real time, so it would be more handy when you keep the window minimized and restore it from time to time to see the current status.

Thanks in advance. Also, if that's not a proper place to suggest it, point me to the right one please :-)

can you please also add an option to check all the boxes under a tab in the overvieuw settings?

As I recently had to redo my overvieuw it annoys the crap out of me to tick every single box in the ships tab and for the npc tab.

Out of curiosity, why cannot I inject a skill that I cannot train at this moment?

It would make things easy, as described above, when a prereq skill finished when offline that training can continue.

Instead of injecting offline, how about we just inject without training?

Obviously I cannot train the injected skill until the prereq is finished training, but why is the injection itself dependent upon the prereq ?

If the injection of a skill is not dependent upon the prereq, I would be able to inject the skill and schedule the training for that skill when the prereq is completed. It makes sense to me. I cannot train level 3 until level 2 is complete. I cannot train spec level 1 until operation level 5 is complete. They are the same conditions. What has skill injection to do with it ?

If you really want to be evil, make it so that injected skills not trained to level 1 are lost with current implants (and thus show up on kill mails).

These sound nice. But how about the most obvious feature of all - search in the skill list. As a newbie, I often have a very hard time finding where the skill I'd like to train is. I'm forced to use EveMon to get the grouping. But why can't I just search for the skill name?

Dear Duchess Punkturis,

Any chance we could get Show Info on Modules to have a Skills Tab, In addition to prerequisites?

e.g. Large Shield Extender
Shield Upgrades

  • Shield Management
  • Shield Operation
  • Shield Upgrades

In addition, any possibility to get Skill Info explicitly state the Module Market Group it affects and synergistic skills?

e.g. Signal Suppression

Electronic Warfare > Remote Sensor Dampeners
  • Long Distance Jamming
  • Sensor Linking
  • Weapon Disruption

The latter one is clearly a muddier issue to tackle.

Your loyal servant,
Apollo

This. I have 250 skills or something I can never find anything ! Thanks ! P

Yay! 324 skills here and after more than 6 years of play I still find myself wondering if that skill was in Electronics or in Engineering and later to find out that it was in neither. Ugh

But CCP if you already fiddling with skill books, maybe you could copy some relevant bonus information over respective skill book?

For example in Thanatos info we can find following bonuses:

Gallente Carrier Skill Bonuses:
50% bonus to Capital Shield and Armor transfer range per level
5% bonus to deployed Fighters’ damage per level
99% reduction in CPU need for Warfare Link modules
Can fit Tactical Logistics Reconfiguration modules
Can deploy 1 additional Fighter or Drone per level
200% bonus to Fighter control range

What I would like to see, is that we could find same bonus info also in Gallente Carrier Skill itself.

There is a select all per category. If you can't find it, let me know, I'll do a screen shot for ya.

how about the systems list on the left ? it's gone since a while, and i need it :/

I love the new autopilot destination tool!

However, I will say that the ability to glance at all your system names without having to tooltip over them is great for an "at a glance" look to see "Am I going through Dodixie?" kind of question.

I know the World Map Control Panel kind of does that in the "expanded mode" so you can see all the destinations but having it in a window with other important functionality is a bit bulky.

I have a decent idea to resolve this easily... can you make the final destination text clickable so that it will pop open a "Show Info" window of the final destination set to the "Show Route" tab. That pane has all systems to your destination listed and It would be a one click solution to the information using pre-existing code on almost every level.

Big smile

Thanks for the great work guys!

So when can we simply right-click on a ship and select the insure option, instead of going through the station services tab?

looks good! But I was wondering if the insurance information would be available to just the owner of the ship? don't really want people to know if I'm flying insured or not.

Sorry but file “forumsig.GIF” is currently unavailable please come back later…… like in a year or so.

This one should be manageable.

When you quit eve, you have to press the button 'quit game'.

I think it should say 'quit' or 'quit eve' or something like that. Eve is not ONLY a game, it is so much more!

It would be a very easy addition to the 'eve is real'-thingy you guys are(rightly so) trying to pull off.

what about 'enter life'?

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

In the items window in station. Please put a "repackage and stack all" button on the bottom of the window.

while (CurrentSelectedTarget.Status == ShipStatus.Alive) {

     _myShip.FireAllGuns(CurrentSelectedTarget);

}

Only problem though is, that the Nyx uses that skill aswell. And there are skills with many more uses. It would be alot of information. Though maybe putting links to all ships that use said skill into its info could be a good idea ^^ Although i'm not sure if that's really necessary

Wooo, nice and fancy \o/.

Adding skill category to the info windows: win!

Suggestion for the paper cuts team(s):

Being able to use the shortcut keys to target lock fleet mates in the watch list.

Use case:
Often times logi's will need to keep a number of people target locked, right click ->lock target is not as efficient as [hot key] + right click. If possible maybe shift highlight all the pilots then [hot key]+left click to lock all the highlight pilots?

I like making things explode.
