Now that things have calmed down a bit, why not start talking about actually fixing all the sh***y aspects of fw which make situations like these (nullbears joining only to hoarde isk, stabbed farmers spoiling the fun for dedicated fw players etc.) possible in the first place?
Like, try and make fw threads focused on improving fw.

And now the truth comes out, this entire thread was a request for implementing Timer Rollbacks.

Fudge, here I've been secretly grinding my Caldari standing to take advantage of the TAPI gravy train when I jump ship. I'm a sad, sad panda now. :(

Just join my corp dude.

We have enough standing to buffer it till yours is fixed.

Garan's in terrible trouble at the moment. He can only gatecamp with 11 Arty Thrasher and ECM alts now instead of his usual 26. You should hear his plaintive wails on comms - crushes your soul, it does.

If you weren't new to FW, you'd realize that both sides when up or down have been calling for some further fixes to FW mechanics for quite a while. But then that would require you to put aside your smacktard reflexes, actually search this subforum for topics, and read a lot of threads. That all apparently is hard for you. Even counting systems in the FW window is hard for you. Big smile

CCP, there are off buttons for ship explosions, missile effects, turret effects, etc. "Immersion" does not seem to be harmed by those. So, please give us a persisting off button for the jump gate and autoscan visuals.

I think the main points I have taken away from this fantastically cogent discussion/debate on a range of aspects, issues, and peculiarities of FW are that:

I look forward to even deeper discussions like this in the future.

On a side note, how can someone suddenly pull a circle with force? I can see if it was a ring, as a ring has a form that corresponds with its circular shape. Very perplexing.Pirate

I'm not really sure how explaining aspects of shape/form analysis would get you banned from the forums. Since you seem to know more about this subject than I do, may I ask a question. Do you think the following article will help me solve the 'circle jerk' conundrum?

Srivastava, A., Turaga, P., & Kurtek, S. (2012). On advances in differential-geometric approaches for 2D and 3D shape analyses and activity recognition. Image and Vision Computing, 30(6), 398-416.
