Cannot log into EVE

I attempted twice to create a support ticket with the following, but it would not submit.


I am getting annoyed here....

Brought Eve launcher up, stayed on validating client 0%. Click direct through eve.exe, patch downloaded, launcher update ran, launcher came up, stuck on validating client 0%. Attempted repair, got an error


error: unpack requires a string argument of length 4
Total Runtime: 0h00m03s

Went through unscheduled downtime. Repeated all the above steps with same results. typed out this entire support ticket and clicked submit, nothing just sat there, clocked submit again, nothing.

Did a cold restart of my system and repeated all above items, no luck

Decided f it and will reload whole program. Renamed existing Folder in Programfiles86 from CCP to CCP2. attempted to reinstall program got a Archive extraction failed : 3

Retyping this dang ticket and hoping it will send this time. :(

No indication this ticket submitted. clicked submit numerous times, it just sits here.

F. it going to post this in forums and hope somebody can help. Attempted to submit this post to the forums, it says I cannot submit html. Removed the error listed I copied and pasted and will retry. FFS

Buy a bigger hardrive noob

You dont have enough space for eve in your hd/partition

had the same problem. Went to the "bin" folder in the game folder runned the "exefile.exe" i found there and it seems to work, it started a 6k KB downloed. Will tell you once its done if it worked.

Thanks, tried that many times, it always redownloads the same stuff, with same results.

well dude, seems like we are in the same ****. Runned the repair tool

edit.

it did work when i tryied after the fix to use the "exefile.exe" in the eve folder

How did you get on? Did you get it sorted on your own, or did you eventually get a ticket submitted and responded to?

I'm almost 3 days so waiting for a support ticket to be looked at (not same issue), but hopefully, eventually. Only 22 days left on my subscription, so I hope it's answered by then.
