Reduce number of clicks for industry jobs

Hi there.

something that is not directly related to spaceships:
For YEARS I am annoyed about the industry interface.
Why does it take so many clicks to get something done?
Especially where we are forced to do a big number of small jobs (e.g. invention, mass T2-production of modules), this is really significant.

Suggestions:
1. Put a sensible default in the dialog for the installation to use!
Is there ANY reason to NOT use the slot with the shortest queue?
In an NPC station: any free or the next available slot.
In a POS: any free or next available slot.
Instead of produce -> enter amount ->choose installation->(scroll) select-> OK -> OK-> confirm
you get produce -> enter amount -> OK -> confirm
Only if someone is doing something complicated (like remote copies with the originals in the NPC station), he will have to do the same clicks as now, all others would have less trouble.

2. Maybe also a default for the amount or a "max" button that enters the maximum possible amount with the current blueprint/available materials.

3. please don't tell me "error: you can handle only 10 slots" AFTER step 3!! If I click "produce" or "invent" or whatever on a blueprint, the system should check IMMEDIATELY if I have another slot for that activity - not after I have entered all the other information like selecting installation etc. This is also very annoying.

4. there should be a way to start a number of identical jobs at once. If I am doing one invention and I have a ton of max run copies or I have 76 identical T2-BPCs in my hangar and I start one manufacturing job, it is very likely that I want to do more of the same.
There should be an option like for contracts where you can create the very same contract over and over again without having to fill out the dialog multiple times.

I agree with OP, the number of clicks should be minimized.

EvE-Mail me if you need anything.

Agreed... since some of those menus are the oldest in EVE, they are seriously in need of some love.

Instead of creating another thread on the topic, I'll necro this and add some more.

I'm sure it's been said before but there needs to be a way to do batches of the same job.

Here's an example.

I've got 9 X 1 run Hound BPC's.

In order to produce them all I have to go through the same three clicks above nine separate times.

Is possible to make a way that at the very least I only have to go through those three clicks once if the BPC's or BPO's are all the same?

agreed as a fellow industrialist I'll shamelessly bump this.

Yes, yes yes yes yeesss!

I like to research BPOs for profit. It takes 10 distinct UI interactions (mouse clicks, key presses) to set up each job. For 11 jobs, that's 110 interactions.

Usually, I want to do the exact same thing for each BPO.

Please, for the love of all that is holy, give this UI some love. One large interface that lists all of your blueprints, has tabs for each type of job, allows you to select more than one blueprintsat a time, and keeps the information you entered in between uses....

Please? Pretty please?

+1 for streamlining industry and/or redesigning the UI entirely.
