Brand New(b) interested in Exploration, PvP, and PvE

I bought the starter pack for 99c on Amazon and I find myself really enthralled with Eve. I blew through the character creation and made a Caldari and I've completed all of the career tutorials.

That said my ultimate end game is solo or small-scale pvp roaming but I also enjoy exploration and is how i'd like to fund my pvp excursions if possible?

Did i choose the wrong race for pvp ships and should i reroll while im young?

What are some good fits for PvP, Exploration, and PvE (Caldari Navy Missions? or Ratting?) for a very low SP newbie (frigates?)?

What are some fits that I should begin training skills for to get into 3 months or more down the line?

If you train some scanning skills and ECM skills, you should be okay.

caldari ships are pretty good for exploration.

If you want to do exploration and small scale PvP you can get started in lowsec, there's much less competition for exploration and you can get some PvP action as well, these ships are really cheap at 3 mil for the Heron (which you won't lose as often) and 2 mil for the Kestrel, both are quite effective too. However you at least need some decent starting income to fall back on if things go badly (and they very likely will, but it's part of learning), so do some missions to make some money, fit up a couple of ships and get started.
