when you see a isoboxing miner, what do you do?

If the guy is mining in nullsec, where his mining is actually worthwhile (it is a royal pain to import all the low-ends necessary for supercapital production), then killing his multibox mining fleet accomplishes one thing: makes you feel good about yourself. Dudes who multibox 20 or 40 clients are pulling in enough comparatively useless and easily moved high-ends that they can replace the cost of their lost mining barges in a couple of hours. If you really want to cause grief to a competent miner, rather than harvest the ineffectual tears of a clueless newbie in highsec, then what you need to do is devise a way to consistently interdict the low-ends necessary for nullsec production.

But that would require sustained effort, and who in the world has time for that?

So your argument is even though CCP says its ok to use because you have to actually input commands to do things unlike botting where a scripted program does it all for you its cheating.

At that rate why not ban all alts. Multiboxing gives me an advantage over all the scrubs that run one account.

Calling it a cancer to have a program that keeps prices reasonable is pants on head ********. 2 years ago before the nerfs to loot drops and drone regions i was paying 1 isk / unit of trit. 9 months ago it was at 8 isk / unit. RIght now its stable priced @ 5 isk.

The only people that seem to cry about ISBoxer are the ones that dont want to use it, I myself do not use it. I dont need it to mine or rat when i am running my 12 accounts. Some people do use it.

The fact that CCP is collecting a check for every account said ISBoxer user same as they are for you what do they care if its one guy with 50 accounts for 50 guys with 1 account.

Eve is all about having specialized accounts to make Almighty isk as efficiently as possible. I dont tell you how to line your wallets why should i tell someone willing to mine with 60 accounts how to make his. Hell I would rather find said dedicated miner and kill him. Doesnt mean i dont like him or what he is doing. I just like knocking down sand castles.

I don't use illicit RMT, I don't use ISOboxer, and I don't use 'grey area' RMT like the (soon to be banned) SOMER referal system.

The people duplicating minerals and vomiting enormous amounts on the market are THE REASON that most subcaps had their mineral requirements raised so ridiculously high recently. Hurting mostly the newer player (as I have a few billion behind me, so I don't really care if I take a subcap loss of a couple hundred million).

CCP get paid for the accounts of RMT ISK sellers, for botters, and for those that used the Autopilot to 0 hack. For the sake of the game's integrity they acted and sacrificed those accounts and their money from them. They should do the same to the ISObox cheats.

Until they do, an ISOboxer is about the only type of person I will willingly take a sec status hit on my main to podkill in highsec.

Look at them pirate tears. I just wish I could collect them and store for later use.

Duplicating minerals, whoa, this isn't Diablo 1 pot duplicating technique. Everything takes time.

Actually it really, really isn't. Tiercide is the reason for the mineral build changes, not the availability of the minerals. The hulls are now all comparable in effectiveness (more or less) and so their mineral requirements are now similar as well. The activities of miners had nothing to do with that.

Can I please check the validity of your permit for posting the same dumb thread about miner bumping?
No one cares about miner bumping.
Carry on.

Actually, the amount of minerals available is not "duplicated" in any way. it is just being acquired faster, but not faster than 10 toons owned by 10 different people would've mined it anyway. there is no duplication and it is NOT the reason for mineral requirements going up. Stop talking garbage.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tlhlwuf4qjs is the best response to ISObox cheats I have ever seen.

People who use ISObox to effectively duplicate minerals (in this case getting over 50 times the minerals a legitimate non-bot would get for the same effort) deserve to be hunted down (in game) like the cancers they are. So do RMTers and the other forms of botters that CCP actually act on.

Beautiful, warms my heart every time I see that video.
