greetings,

i am new when it comes to play eve on mac. For now playing over bootcamp, because i play the game over shortcuts what´s not working on mac i belive. There are quit a few differences on use shortcuts in the game.

for example:

When you try to open wallet through shortcuts by use "strg+w" it will open. pressing "strg+w" second time it close the window as it should. Same goes for Strg+S - Strg+C - Strg+F.

but if you try it with Strg+A (Character) or Strg+E (PaP) or Strg+B (Browser) you will realize, that the window open as requested, but it will not close if you push the shortcut second time.

My guess is that if you try to open and close a window with shortcuts which include a input filed (example PaP - search field) it fails because of the missing "set focus to overview" option on OSX.

it sucks horribly that i need to click in space (to focus the overview) before i can close the open window by press the shortcut again.

another thing is, that there is a delay on useing shortcuts at all. sometimes i have to press my shortcuts two or three times before i see a visual on screen (warp to - jump - etc.)

all in all i would like to say, CCP there is a lot of work to do!

fly dangerous

If I'm reading the OP properly, I have the same problem with keyboard shortcuts. I haven't been able to find reference to this in the forums, nor with several searches. Any help / direction to a solution is mucho welcome.

I am able to bind/re-bind keys in the keybind interface -- so is recognizing the Alt-W keypress combo. But in-game, that combo either (1) doesn't then work, or (2) it works only to open OR close the correct window, but never both.

I am a new player so can't comment on pre-Rubicon. I'm also OSX 10.9.
