They're drone ships. Weapons fit in the drone bay.

I joined the land-rush for the SoE ships, and honestly don't even use mine. Still have a blueprint for an Asteros that I probably won't even build. I still use the Loki for exploration and the Ishtar for combat sites. I honestly get better Coherence on the Loki with my current fit than I do with the new ships.

I've been using a Stratios for about a week now in Blood Raider/Sansha space and it's ok. Worse damage than the ishtar I used in guristas space, but better at scanning, and the hacking bonus is handy in the occasional ghost sites.
It's a good allround ship, and quite versatile if you pack a mobile depot for refitting in space. Plus the cloak is nice if you have to go to low sec for escalations.
Overall I can say that the Stratios is a good ship for exploration and scanning in high sec, maybe even lowsec, getting it's strength from the exploration focused bonuses of the hull as well as the armor resistances and the drone damage.
It is imho not an optimal, but a good combat ship, good enough for all high sec complexes I have done so far. I think I will stick with it for a while.

In the depths of null its a nice exploration ship, with a mobile depo you just have to stay away from the harder combat sites... still havent tried the harder ghost sites yet...
