OK so it was the monthly haul out of gas and things from my wh. (different alt)

We had some luck and got a high sec, - first in months so I grabbed the orca filled it up and did some trips.

On the way out on my last trip the hole was near collapse.

I jumped the orca through... appeared in the high sec system, and had the message pop up "wormhole collapsed have you become trapped?" - something like that.

BUT..... once i got my bearings... I noticed I wasn't where the wormhole entrance was... in fact I had landed at the stargate 14kms off without a cloak. like i had just entered system?!!

I told my corp member what had happened, and he flew to the wormhole in our system. and it had indeed collapsed.

Has anyone had this occur???

o7 Dringy.

(p.s. i screen capped when i landed. i missed the wormhole collapse message tho.)

Yeah it happens - you get thrown out at the last known valid coordinate - which is where you warped from to the WH if you remain on that side or if you make it through (even less common) you spawn at a weird location in the wh system (which is usually the position relative to the sun the wh was in the system you jumped from). Failing that it spits you out at the sun :S

I believe it sometimes happens with cynos to if you jump as the ship its running on explodes.

I think with wormholes it's last session change location, cynos is intended mechanic.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

I once had this happen while I was rolling my static, it threw me into random deep space that I had no bookmark for.. I have it bookmarked now though..

It has also thrown me straight back into my POS before after colapsing.

It's a bug/feature. Tbh, a nice sci-fi way of explaining it would be that the hole was so low on available mass, it started undulating through space at the other side in order to spit you out. There you go, CCP, now you don't need to fix this!

this happened to me the other day. I was moving a battleship through a mass-critical WH to hisec. The WH's resident had also been using it to move a DST several times. As I landed on the WH to exit to highsec, I saw his Occator uncloak as I hit Jump. The WH was already visually undulating rapidly. I ended up on a hisec gate and got that message.

It was my assumption that he had hit the mass limit using his Occator, but that I had hit jump before the WH had actually collapsed. The implication would then be that a WH takes a few seconds to collapse, during which additional ships can jump through. However I doubt its that simple, as more experienced WH dwellers would have figured it out by now.

"**CCP is changing policy, and has asked that we discontinue the bonus credit program after November 7th. So until then, enjoy a super-bonus of 1B Blink Credit for each 60-day GTC you buy!"**

Never forget.

Idk about that, I jumped with 2 ships at once, and it spit the other back out,
