Im looking for the "smoking gun" guide to implants. Im caldari and use missiles and active/passive shield tanking. I have already decided to go with the +5 implants for slots 1-5 but can any1 help with the rest? I look at the implants and Im looking for the more general type if implants for cover a broader area for mission running am I not thinking this right? Also the slot 10 is already taken with my mining director implant. A little direction would be cool ty!

To start off: get a jump clone. Or two. You are going to want to use slot 10 for something other than the mindlink.

Edit: forums hate my link to the wiki; we'll try it in plain text:

Your best bets to start off a general missile/shield clone are going to be along these lines:

Slot 6: your choice; if you're fine on fitting I'd go for a CY (speed). If you use a Raven or Golem a lot, ZMU for cruise damage or ZMT for torpedo damage
Slot 7: ZMH series for heavies if you use a Drake/NH/Tengu; ZML for missile velocity if you use a Golem
Slot 8: Zor's Hyper-Link is always a good bet (5% AB/MWD speed), otherwise explosion radius (ZMA)
Slot 9: damage application again, ZMS for explosion velocity
Slot 10: ZMM series -- all missile RoF

As Zhilia says, Jump clones. You don't want to stuff your head full of expensive implants that you won't be using half the time. So you stuff one head with one set, and another with the other. Most of the time you can get away with a intelligence/memory pair, and an perception/willpower pair.

That way, when someone blows you up, you don't needlessly lose money.

Woo! CSM XI!
