I think it looks cool as it is but is probably still too close to a hand blender. I agree with other comments that it would look better if reversed and the ring was at the rear.

If the front part rotated it would look ridiculous.

No matter what the ship looks like someone will have something mean to say. I think it looks modular. Would be cool to have a BS that split up into two ships.

The front propulsion system(?) is not a ring, but a flattened ring, like a "0" rather than a "O". It would be troublesome to see it rotate.

I should imagine that the ring is on the front to aid wormhole diving; rather than the butt as with the Astero and Stratios which is warp drive/cloak related.
