I didn't think it would bother me but ... it sticks in my craw that 0-sec corps have taken over h-sec POCOs. I haven't done any PI since Rubicon.

I can't wardec the pirate corps ... but just as in 0-sec it should at least be open season on the ships which use them. Have the ships blink yellow on a pick-up (works for low-sec, too). Non-resident POCO owners shouldn't get it this easy; maybe a little active effort defending their customers is in order.


Isn't it awesome then that a friendly highsec, open to all PvP community owns hundreds of highsec POCOs?

Use ours, we have very reasonable tax rates (please keep in mind that we don't control the npc tax and that there is a skill that reduces it)

TL;DR: Hisec sucks, move away from it.

In my opinion this whole high sec POCO thing just serves to illustrate how utterly awful the current war dec mechanics are. Want to take over some planets from a massive corp that has hundreds of POCOs in high sec? Yeah have fun paying half a bil just to try.

Have high sec PI taxes really gone down with these changes? Every high sec POCO I've looked at (just out of curiosity--I would never actually do PI in high sec) has had 10% taxes or more (most have been much more). So with the NPC tax on top of that I'm not seeing a reduction in taxes.

Pretty sure the tax rate you are seeing is player tax + npx tax and takes your tax reduction skills into account. i am not 100% sure though so if someone could confirm that would be awesome.

They're not hard to fight... it just costs more than any small group of players can afford to even be ALLOWED to fight. Quite a big difference Ugh

Nonsense, EVE Online is not about self reliance or taking the initiative or being responsible for your own enjoyment so you are obviously playing the game wrong.
