So I want to see if this has just been me or not... (puts tinfoil hat on) - But....

Has anyone else noticed that when warping to 0 on a station with their Pod - it is slow boating the extra 1000-500m now? I know that this used to happen once in a blue moon before, but lately it seems as if it has become much more prevalent. Have heard other people on comms talking about it as well (Who am I kidding, I don't have friends).

In before "Make a bookmark".

It happens, and always has, almost consistently, to certain stations from certain celestials/gates.

What Crosi said, it isn't something new. And thankfully a lot of people are too lazy to make docking bookmarks.

May or may not be related, but since Rubicon, I notice my ship entering "Approaching" status for a few seconds even when I land on my safe dock BM 0m to the station. Weird.

The smart bombing Maller has new lands to roam now Twisted

I wear my goggles at night.

Any spelling/grammatical errors come complimentary with my typing on a phone

Really?

While not impossible, pods warping to station are more commonly dealt with by instalock arty.

Fact is, if you re gonna SB camp a particular alignment to station it wouldnt matter if they land at zero or not.

OP, from the mouth of the great Solj RichPopolous, "You don't understand game mechanics." You really never land at 0 KM. You land at some random distance from the point you're warping to This happens whether you are warping to a gate, station, point in space, or even a fleet member. Sometimes, you overshoot the point and land in the middle of the gate. Other times you land short and have to putt putt your way.

War Targets can take advantage of this by sitting in a sensor boosted arty ship and blapping you while you try to dock or jump through the gate. Study Game Mechanics!

I really think for the most part most people replying here haven't developed the greatest form of reading comprehension. Nowhere in my post did I state "This never happened". I am fully aware of this game mechanic, that being said I have often landed at 0 to this station in majority of my warps. Allowing me to instantly dock at said station - Occasionally landing me at a distance and slow boating the pod.

But, I myself and others have noticed more frequently that this minor displacement has become more prevalent. Maybe it is because I am podding around high sec more as opposed to using a ship. Maybe it is warp speed changes; I just wanted to see if other people were experiencing a similar experience. These have been remedied by us using bookmarks, study reading comprehension.

I do appreciate Crosi's and Texty's posts - they are true gentleman and scholars. I do believe that warp speed changes may have increased the likelihood of slow boating as opposed to getting a perfect 0 warp. But I also admit I could be wrong.

at least before some stations had contantly longer range to dock from certain directions than from other directions.

I do not know if it has changed, i have not undocked !
