Im letting my accounts expire this week for the fourth time in 2 years. I always came back when new content came out that sounded interesting so maybe I will again.
I feel like there are a lack of goals in eve. I know it's a sandbox and "make your own content" but under that rezoning I could just get some legos and make my own content.
Factional warfare is dissapointing, any number of pilots have little to no effect on the warzone, the entire mechanic is driven by lp farmers.
I'll be back when there are more ways to interact and claim space outside of null sec, and/or they revamp factional warfare. I like eve, i hope soon :)

EVERY MORNING I WAKE UP AND OPEN PALM SLAM A VHS INTO THE SLOT. IT'S CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK AND RIGHT THEN AND THERE I START DOING THE MOVES ALONGSIDE THE MAIN CHARACTER, RIDDICK. I DO EVERY MOVE AND I DO EVERY MOVE HARD. MAKIN' WHOOSHING SOUNDS WHEN I SLAM DOWN SOME NECRO BASTARDS. NOT MANY CAN SAY THEY ESCAPED THE GALAXY'S MOST DANGEROUS PRISON. I CAN.

You may not be suited for this game as you seem to lack the drive to make your own story. EVE will never hold your hand and guide you down the track like every other MMO out there.

You lack the goals.
You could get a bucket of lego, but could you get 10 to 40 k people to play with you?

Goggles. Making me look good. Making you look good.

Play other games for a week, then return to EVE and try something you haven't done before. I'm sure you haven't done all of these:

- Solo PVP
- Small Gang PVP
- Nullsec Sov PVP
- Living in a Wormhole
- Exploration
- Missions
- Anomalies
- COSMOS Missions
- Pirate 0.0 Epic Arcs
- Mining
- Station Trading
- Regional Trading
- 0.0 Trading
- T1 Manufacturing
- T2 Manufacturing and Invention
- T3 Manufacturing
- Founding your own corporation
- Joining a highsec/pirate/nullsec/wormhole corp
- Awoxing
- Suicide Ganking
- Scamming
- Forum Trolling (oh, maybe you've already done that one)

if all of these fail to get your interest this game is not for you and you should donate your stuff to Plex for Good.

F*** yeah Lego is fun as balls. I'd play with the OP.

EDIT: ...in retrospect, that was a really poorly though-out combination of "fun as balls" and "play with the OP".

Lego these days is pants. Back in my day you were given a pile a bricks and you had to use your imagination. Arrow

I know right? Every new set has a new piece of lego in it. That misses the point!

Well, considering they are EVE players, some of them would always be trying to steal the other players pieces, others would be crying to Lego that the flat pieces are OP and buff blocks pls, some players would try to swallow the pieces and choke on them and in the end the Goons would come and knock over everything that was built.

What's wrong with claiming space in nullsec, and what do you think will be magically different outside of nullsec?

I never understood why people feel the need to announce their quitting. Play if you like it, quit if you don't. Why waste the time telling this to people who genuinely don't care what you do?

I agree, why bother communicating with people in an MMO. Its overrated.

Personally, I enjoy hearing people explain how they failed at their goals and look for pitty as they quit. Also if all he wants is to own some space, he should of looked at wormholes. Pretty easy to get a spot in one. As for lack of goals, that is entirely OP's fault. Decide on what you want to do and go do it. You will fail or succeed and the outcome will be because of you. Every time i fail it is my own fault but i learn something, OP should do the same.
