So I need 2 Stratios' to run relic AND data sites?

Something I noticed on Sisi before Rubicon went live and even mentioned in the Sisi forums. The Stratios, like all faction cruisers, has 350 calibration. The 2 rigs which enhance relic and data site modules take 200 calibration each. I am sure you can see the problem already so I wont go into first grade math. Well the Pilgrim has 400 calibration. Some here might say "Well the Stratios has the Virus Coherence bonus", which is true but the rigs give a 20% access bonus as well and the virus cohearance washes if you put one rig on the Stratios. So a Pilgrim with the 2 data/relic rigs gets a 20% access bonus to both types of sites as well as a 20 virus coherence bonus. The Stratios gets a 20 virus coherence bonus only.

Why then would I want to go into deep space, many LY's from anyone else with a ship I needed 2 of to do what I wanted? Last time I looked we cant fly 2 at once. I don't really want to carry a ton of rigs with me either to refit at my new fancy Mobile Depot. That would get prohibitively expensive fast.

So for now we only get the bonus on one type of site the ship was intended to excel at, or neither one if we combat fit and only run combat sites. Did someone overlook this small detail at CCP?

Each ship has strengths and weaknesses in all fields of play (I can PvP with a barge if i want to dammit!). Learn them and don't whine for an I win button.

Every other pirate faction ship has 350 calibration. The Stratios is no different.

I am aware of the other faction ships and I am not whining I am simply showing where the Stratios, which was supposed to have Exploration as it's strength, does not have the stats to support this. I personally use an Anathema for relic and data sites, get a ship bonus as well as can put both rigs on it. I use my stratios as a cov ops combat site runner, similar to you doing pvp in a barge, I run sites in an exploration ship, go figure.

What exactly does the 20% access bonus do anyway? I thought it was a leftover from before odyssey...

There are a few old-style hackable cans still in existence, the epic arcs still have them, and the access bonus helps there. Other than that, it's not worth much.
