In all honesty there are only two things I can think of that I haven't done with a mega and that black ops and capital fleets. I did in fact fit a cyno on all of my mega before CCP took away the utility slot, there are some rather funny stories involving boat ops when we used drakes and tengu fleets. I would love to take part in siege fleets and dread blobs though.

They're for different situations. And you dont lose any sp for being killed in a Mega. You seem to be deliberately ignoring info that doesn't back up your point.

I lose 10 Megas in a day im still sweet to go out and lose another ten if i want. You CANNOT do that kind of disposable pvp in T3's without long breaks between losses to train ur skills back up to normal.

You might want to take some of your own advice I think.

Baltec knows zero about the Mega. I can say that with 100 accuracy because he's hasn't flown one without 20, 30, 40 to hundreds of people at the same time making up for its deficiencies.

I on the other hand have used them since I could first jump into a battleship, until battleships were nerfed and smaller ships buffed to make them unviable to fly solo that's all I pvp'd in.

There's a reason the only large T2 guns I have trained are large blasters and large rails. I didn't train them for the dominix.

The skill loss from the T3's mean nothing in a comparison of ship hulls and ship ability.

If they outclass mega fleets so badly why is nobody flying them in fleet fights? Why is it that Battleship make up the core in every single fleet fight if T3s are supposedly so much better?

Actually not entirely true. I jumped a mega into a three man gate camp in Rancer a month or so ago. Was actually winning until PL showed up with 16 dweebs.

Thats why I I'm on the killmail as a pod.

I don't use Megas anymore simply because they're useless solo for that reason, too slow.

Thanks to cynos and nerfs of solo play engaging anything that will take a while to kill thats fitted for pvp and a serious lack of solo pvp fit targets ratters are the target of choice for soloing. Unless you like frigate pvp which I don't. Do you suggest I attack dweeb camps like your 20 to 200 man blobs? No thanks.

I fly a 'geddon solo on rare occasions and it's alright. There aren't many situations where a solo battleship is a useful response anymore, though.

It would take a long series of concussions before I'd want to fly a plated Megathron solo.

Geddon is now the cheap mans bhaalgorn.

The raven is now possibly the single most adaptable BS for small gang/solo work.

Battleships aren't supposed to get frontlined. They're supposed to sit in the back, more or less where the dreadnoughts sit.
