Howdy folks, after a long hiatus, the OP has returned!

What is the next scheduled meetup? I am free and clear of duties and will be in Houston again for the week of Thanksgiving and the week following. After that, though, will be moving to Seattle to shave a thousand miles or so off of the commute. I'll be able to duck in from time to time while visiting family there, but next year will most likely be as busy as last.

As promised, I'll be bringing some crab, and lots of this summers catch of smoked King salmon that were caught just as the poor bastards were in sight of land from the ocean. Most likely the finest seafood available anywhere.

Those that can reach me directly, please do. Earlier in the day gives the best chance of catching me sober over the next few days/week/or so.

Looking forward to seeing everyone new and old, and catching up on the latest tear removal techniques!

Hey! Unfortunately I'm going to the Renaissance Fair on the 30th... but it's great to see more people from Houston! I'm in the Katy area, so if anyone wants to talk or hang out I'm up for it. One of the biggest issues I've had staying on eve is finding people I can trust and relate with. Sure there are people I know in game but I just don't have the same amount of time and undivided attention I had when I played WoW lol. As far as in game goes, if I have people I can trust I'd love to mission together or (even better with these new ships and stuff) get a little exploration or small gang pvp going on.

EDIT: Also, there's a site called meetup.com. There's a Houston Eve group on there (I only just considered it myself XD).

Damnit... My sons Bday is the 30th and I've got all sorts of family coming into town etc. Can't make it this month and probably not next (my end of year month are heavy with birthdays and traveling) but after the new year I'm back in the mix.

I think Kazoki set up that meetup.com group for us. We have been talking off and on about trying to get a second monthly meeting going somewhere more central, since the King's Head is out near Hwy 6 and I-10...

Dantrial, I may be at Renfest that day as well, however we usually try to leave by dark..lol (Crazies come out then) and 6-7 hours there is usally PLENTY!!!

Gives you plenty of time to make it back to KingsHead.

There were five players in attendance for this last meetup. I haven't been in Houston for a meetup in over a year, so I can't say what normal would be, given a holiday weekend.

I would not mind at all meeting again here this next week/weekend in maybe a more centralized spot. Call it a scouting venture for future meetups. FedEx has not been kind to me, and the seafood I shipped did not arrive in time for this meet. Should have gone with Red Frog. That left my mission incomplete, and flying down next month for the sole purpose of delivery has an OCD feel to it.

So, if anyone has ideas on where might be a good spot that folks don't need an hour to get to..let's make something happen. Also, it would be a good idea for folks to pipe up as to where you are coming from if you are interested in dropping by for meets.

I'm in Cy-Fair right off the Beltway near the horse track. As long as we meet at a spot west of downtown and north of 59, I shouldn't have any issues getting there.

Wouldn't you know it.. I have been called up for duty, and fly tomorrow morning. I will have internet access on a fairly regular basis over the next months so I can update the title with scheduled meet times.

My lady has agreed to roll by on the next meet with some tasty treats for you neckbeards, just look for the crazy Texas redhead and toss a cold one back for me.

We'll miss you (again) Bella! Be safe! The next regularly scheduled meet is on Saturday, 28 December, 8(ish) PM. That's the weekend after Christmas and folks may have family plans. At this moment, I don't know if I am going to be able to make it myself.

We had a light turnout this past Saturday, just me and Kazoki, but the entire pub was quiet, the weekend after Christmas. To be expected I guess.

Next meetup is Saturday, 25 January, 2014. Again at 8 PM(ish).

Hope to see more folks there.
