Rates Today saw the concept art SOE Battleship.

But, design in my opinion. little fix.

Back Ring Version

Add to I CCP presented this wonderful Ship.

Ring in the back, wingy bits in the front. As it is now it looks like it's quite confused about where its front end is.

Approved, but i will rather instead of circle use that half circle like in SoE frigate but x3

I'd rather the "blender" portion was kept but the weird awkward up/down wing was removed.

The back circle version I think looks really good too.

I would like to see it's stats, and bonuses soon.

+1 for more back ring version. The stock is just hideous. Straight

It was mentioned that the ring could be more like in the astarte -frigate. Afterall being a battleship, the suggested half-ring should look like it has armor plating on it.

Also if (hopefully when) the ring from front is removed, the front end should be redone. Add some short fins or such.

I say 2 ring it!

And I'm pretty sure it's going to have the drone and resist bonus, I hope it gets a better bonus then the optimal laser bonus. I doubt it will warp cloaked, so I wonder what it's other special bonuses will be. Will still get the exploring bonuses? Anybody see anything about it's info yet?

Both of your designs look better than the CCP design. Personally, i would like to see a vertical battle ship (think naglfar or keres)

I hope the art department take their design back to the drawing board.

The wishlist is pretty much complete...

The original CCP-design is good. I personally think sticking the ring in front is a great idea, there are a lot of designs out there with back rings already. This new SOE battleship however goes a more novel route and I'm all for it.

The "wings" at the back could be a bit larger and broader, to make the ship design seem more in balance, if that makes sense.

The altered versions are, well to be nice, not good. The version without ring needs at least it's wings removed, without the large ring in front the design is seriously unbalanced again. Even without wings my reaction would be less "Neat ship!" and more of a "Eh, I could live with it", though.

The back ring version is better, but lacks the originality of the actual SOE BS concept art.

Maybe I'm in the minority here, but I would prefer the concept art as it is.

1. SOE battleship would not be covert ops capable and would instead receive a special set of bonuses.
2. SOE battleship would also be "by far" the lowest mass battleship ever released, a feature which could make it particularly attractive to wormholers.

but no information yet on the Dev Blog.

Could you do up the following version:
• CCP original design but with a smaller radial wing in the front
• Your rear radial wing split into two arcs on either side of the straight vertical wings

So the front would look something like this: (o)

Both of your retouched designs are awesome. I would prefer any of them compared to current one by CCP

Or as said by earlier poster, make the ring like Astero but plated and reinforced.

it is ugly like a domi.

I would like to see 2 rings, one small one on the front and a bigger one at the start of the last quarter/third of the ship.

Not gonna lie. I ususally love CCP concept arts, But the back ring is a sexay beast
