Ah, Launcher wtf

Yet again this this has gone crazy. While updating my launcher gets to 3/4 Applying Eve_Online_661006-661006_win.Patch 100%

and then it just sits there. Left it over night and nothing. Tried the repair.exe, gets to step 7/7 before telling me it failed and directing me to these forums.

I love eve, but with all the settings and little **** in this game I hate re installing, in fact i won't be again. Please someone give me a workaround, I don't want to walk away from eve.

If you could provide us with a launcher logfile we might also be able to spot what the problem is. The log file can be found at [eve installation]\launcher\cache and is called something like launcher.2013.11.28.log - just use http://www.pastebin.com or a similar service and either post the resulting link here or send it to me via private message.
