So thinking about getting into industry...

Been playing since 2007 and other than doing one of the industry tutorials, I don't recall doing industry at all. People have been helpful in the industry chat channel, but I've realized a few things.

1. I now know why many of my BPCs haven't been selling. Because they are 1 run and I've been selling them for more than the final product price... To be fair, I'm a trader/Explorer so I always researched my prices the trader way, check out the least highest prices and undercut them. No history on contracts so every offer is a shot in the dark.

2. My original intent was to maybe improve my profit margins for all these BPCs I find exploring, but profit margins seem rather tight now that I'm looking. Do I need to mine too?

Thanks,

Most explored bpcs are rather useless, there are couple exceptions ofc.
Many of the "ok" ones have low material costs so you can actually just build them with basic industry skills and then sell the ready modules on the market for small profit.
This is why most dont buy them or atleast not the lowrun ones, not worth the trouble.

NEVER think that you need to mine to increase profits, always count mineral value.
