I managed to scrounge up some ice for a very reasonable cost. It's safe an sound in Jita 4-4 and I'm wondering if I should put them on the market, or hold off till Thanksgiving. It's feasible to see more players on during the holiday, so it might make the market slightly more competitive, but it might not. Somebody might have a ton of the stuff and just hasn't and the chance to sell it. In your opinion, should I put it on the market now? Or wait a week? Or am I being ridicules for reading too much into the market?

Moving it sooner at a slightly lower margin will be better, the more motion you have, the better.

If you can afford to hold it, put it on the market at 5-10% above current sells, if you can't afford to hold it, undercut the current sell orders.

Just be sure to get out before the greater fool theory runs out of steam.

Necessity is the plea for every infringement of human freedom. It is the argument of tyrants; it is the creed of slaves.  - William Pitt

agree stagnant assets are lost profit.

90% of of the time my posts are about something I actually find interesting and want to learn more about. Do not be alarmed.

I am following the advice. I'd rather not loose out.

Why did none of you idiots bother to ask her what the heck she is talking about? A review of her posting history reveals that she claims hisec ice is being removed with this expansion. If she really believed that, there is no way she should sell before the 29th or at least before it was officially confirmed. The more likely explanation is that she finds herself with a stock of ice products and is hoping to stir up some speculation before the patch to help her unload it at a profit.

No I was curious if it was going to happen or not. The community gave me their input and I now figure that it is probably not going to happen. That is all it was about. Overly critical much?

No, I just hate threads without content and meaningless responses: "Q: I bought something on the market, should I sell or hold? A: Yes."

You mean you hate threads without drama.

Duly noted.

Your stockpile of ice amuses us. How much and of what type? If it's not over 100k you should take a seat.
