They both have the same damage appliance to their missiles except that
the navy caracal can put out dps faster for a shorter period of time while the Fleet Scythe has an higher Sustained DPS thanks to its drones it also has the ability to neut its target.

The Navy Caracal has a higher EHP while the Fleet Scythe has a much higher speed allowing it to catch faster stuff or run away.

The N Caracal has a higher Cargo bay 10m3 but the Fleet Scythe only consume two thirds of its ammo compared to the N Caracal.

I’m not saying this is the way you should fit a Fleet Scythe or Navy Caracal this is mostly to get an comparison between the two and see their ups and downs.

But it seems that the Scythe has big advantages over the caracal when it comes to the use of Rapid lights in pvp.

I would suggest increasing the total capacitor for the N Caracal or allowing its Explosion radius bonus to affect the light missiles so you can remove the Rigor rig and put some thing else there instead.
Or even increase the base value of the shield generation that could be quite interesting.

Thoughts?

What you can fit is; T1 damage rig, T2 rigor and T1 anti-thermal shield rig or T2 damage rig and you have to choose between those other two.

Havent you heard? Minmatar is better at Caldari weapon systems than the Caldari are.

Exactly not only are they better at missiles the Fleet scythe gets a speed advantage equivalent to a full sett of snake implants for the Navy Caracal, but I guess the Navy Caracal still has its range advantage oh wait…Sad
