[Missiles and Bastion] is it just me..

... or does triggering bastion while missiles are in-flight causes the missiles to not deal any damage at all?

I've noticed this behaviour, and every time bastion got (de-)activated while missiles are in space, the volley hits the target, but does not deal any damage at all. :(

Can someone else check?

i.e. Fire a volley from your golem, wait till the missiles are in space and hit bastion.

Anyone seen someone mentioning this?

I would guess that if its on de-activation of the bastion it will be because the missiles are suddenly outside their range (guessing torp's here) and therefore can't legally hit the target.

I can exclude this - > I've used Fury CM's for a range well within the non-bastioned range ( 30 and ~90 KM tested while range is 145 / 181).

I too have noticed this effect,when entering or exiting bastion any missiles still in flight deal no damage.I supose best course of action would be to file a petition and hope it will be looked at.

This was a problem on the test server that I remember reported and I believe I may have even reported myself. I was never able to see if they had fixed it because CCP removed and stopped giving out marauder skills very early on in bastion testing. I have no idea if this is the same problem or is simply identical behavior; I did think I had heard that the original issue had been fixed.

Since I can't use a marauder that has missile hardpoints, I can't confirm this on TQ. I do know that torpedoes from my TFI were occasionally missing during customs office bashing - they'd cycle, use ammo, and show the full hit animation but never give a damage notification - but I did not report it as I couldn't purposefully replicate the behavior.

its the same thing with the caldari dread seige mode its a bug that ccp has had problems fixing
it only affects comming out of seige/bastion
