Why cannot we transport others players? (as pure passive occupant)

That would be a badass feature, as it would create a new area of business.

I dont see why in the whole new Eden it would not be possible to transport a capsule as passenger.
Maybe it would require some skills and some mods as usual.
CCP you could even create a new class of ship from there! Pirate

I just feel New Eden is lacking of Space Taxis Lol

Either this would be a business area which pays really bad, since you will not be able to ask for high prices for your service or otherwise barely anyone would be paying millions for a transport when they can just buy a shuttle for a few k.

I could only see this being a profitable business idea if the autopilot would get removed from the game.

Ok that would not create a huge business but STILL creating a taxi/bus for capsuleers would make sense in terms of immersion, and what you can do in new Eden.

That would allow to bring some expensive clones in 0.0 or any other case when you want to bring many ppl/clone to some point fast.

Also, imagine the red catching that Transport filled with cyborgs , that would make shiny kill and would have impact on the ennemy's wallet

The transportation of clones is something I would love to see.

I can't quite place my finger on why, but the transportation of an active clone just seems a bit off.

Would be neat but how can we be sure the driver brings us to our destination and not going in circles around Jita to grief us from being able to fly ourselves hehe

But I'd be happy to see that or interbus transport stuff to get moved around.

"Enduring", "restrained" and "ample" as designations for starship components are foreign to the genre of high-tech science fiction and don’t belong in Eve Online. (And as for “scoped” …)

would only work for moving jump clones. Since CCP can't add a mechanic which would prevent players to log in. For example if you move another player and you just don't deliver him to the destination or are afk cloaked somewhere in space and the player wants to log in.

how to fix eve: 1) remove ECM 2) rename dampeners to ECM 3) add new anti-drone ewar for caldari 4) give offgrid boosters ongrid combat value

Nope, that would require additional coding. And my guess that in this case it would be non-trivial amount of coding, rather low-level at that.

And then when you d/c and the player is "accidentally to purgatory", what then?
