Rigging a Shuttle?

Some days I find myself wanting to rig a shuttle. Why don't shuttles come with hardpoints and calibration?

Their cheap disposable ships that can't do nothing but move. Their the equivalent of strapping an ACME rocket to yourself and lighting the match. Just be happy Wile E Coyote beta tested it for us extensively for us so they no longer self detonate on us.

Now with that being said I wouldn't mind seeing a varient that have rig slots and 1 low/mid/hi slot, would make it interesting to use for lv1 missions.

I am not convinced that shuttles are OP enough to not warrant rig slots.

I don't think they need 3 rig slots, but 1 or 2 would be handy. A Low Friction Nozzle Joint would be rather handy. And don't underestimate the value of a Small Auxiliary Thrusters for afk-autopiloting or even a Small Hyperspatial Velocity Optimizer for faster travel. I don't think these changes would be super game impacting while still being useful.

They need at least one slot too so I can pimp them with officer mods to match my t2 rigs and keep the PLEXes I've got in cargo safe while I autopilot to Jita!

Ever since we have this new model minie shuttle I wanted to put guns on it, look at the thing it begs for some guns, hell I would be happy with a pair of civilian Gatling guns just for the sake of having some guns. (beside shuttle pvp sounds like an awesome thing to do when bored :P)
