The first reply to this thread will be from Metistia, my main character, confirming that "she" is my main. I created this character so that I could publish the API key for everyone to see to hold me accountable for without exposing my personal wallets. This is not a scam, and if it were CCP would likely ban my characters from the game since this is directly for PLEX for Good. I also wrote a blog post to expand on this thought further

UPDATE 2013-12-03 0130 For the four days of December 3-6 the highest donors for those days will be entered into a special drawing. Additionally, I will match each of the highest donations on each of those days up to 1b each day. This means your donation could end up being quadrupled after I match it and then Chribba matches our combined amounts.

UPDATE 2013-12-01 1700: All proceeds will be given to Chribba's Trillion ISK Drive, which means it will be doubled. I will be taking the equivalent rewards that the plex would have generated from the 10 I already donated personally, and giving them out as the second raffle rewards instead. This shouldn't fundamentally change anything as far as raffle participants are concerned.

Do you want to help with the PLEX for Good drive but don't have enough ISK to buy a PLEX? I'm here to help solve this dilemma. Buy raffle tickets for the below raffles, and I will take every ISK sent and convert it to PLEX and contract it to CCP's PLEX for GOOD. I will round up the final amount to the next PLEX by donating the remaining amount personally.

RULES

Each raffle ticket is 1m ISK, and is bought by sending ISK to this character, Newbies for Good which is in the "Farcical Inc." corporation, ticker "SFRCE".
A character can not get more than 500 raffle tickets. You can donate more, the ISK will still go to PLEX for GOOD, but this raffle is meant for newer characters.
Money for tickets can be sent up until December 7, 2013 at 16:00 EVE Time.
If you donate non multiples of 1mil, you will receive the rounded down amount of tickets. For example, if the total you donate is 3,500,000 ISK, you will receive 3 tickets.
Tickets are generated based on the total amount of isk, not per transaction. So, if you donate 1,500,000 + 1,500,000, you would receive 3 tickets.
PLEX will be contracted to CCP PLEX for GOOD by 21:00 EVE Time on December 7. UPDATE: All ISK will be sent to Chribba, and he will be doubling it as part of the Trillion ISK Drive
Raffle will happen at 22:00 EVE Time on December 7.
All prizes are done as donations by Metistia. All ISK sent to this character will be transformed into PLEX and raffle tickets.

NOTE

I changed this from a generic donation conversion service to a raffle after seeing the newbie raffle thread. I do not know that person, but I love the idea and decided to do something similar. Maximize your chances for winning by doing both raffles!

24 hours in, starting to do local promotion navigating through hubs, starter systems. Despite only light advertising so far, we have 6 characters and 66 tickets so far. The spreadsheet linked at the bottom is a live sheet that updates with the EVE API (you can look at the formulas), and it now contains summary information.

For those worried that this is a scam, I'm glad you're skeptical especially if you're a newer player. However, I would point back to the first paragraph again: I am not hiding my true identity in game, and CCP has said they will strictly deal with scammers. This means that if I were trying to scam I'm risking having my main character banned since I'm not taking any effort to hide who I am.

A few updates:

• I'm now not giving directly to PLEX for GOOD, but instead directing the funds through Chribba's Trillion ISK Drive which will double whatever we send along. This means instead of a screenshot of the PLEX contract I will take a screenshot of the wallet transaction when it happens, and of course the API Key will stay live forever.
• Because of this, I want to make sure that we get our money in to Chribba in time, so to be safe I'm moving the final deadline for donations to December 7 16:00 EVE time. That is 8am for me. I'm going to do my drawing at 22:00 EVE Time on the 7th instead, which is just 1 hour after CCP's stream ends.
• I've created an in-game channel "Just a Farce", a play on my online nickname StrongFarce. I've had quite a few great conversations in the last 48 hours, and figured I might as well create a channel to keep in touch. Everyone is welcome.
• We're up to > 50 Unique donors! I even got a Jita scammer to donate 1m ISK just before writing this, lol. We also have broken the 1 PLEX mark, which when filtered through Chribba means 2 PLEX for charity, most raised in 1m increments!
• I have successfully acquired the 2 Stratios and 3 Astero prizes. My buy orders on the Low-Grade Ascendency I'm still working on, but I'm hoping tomorrow's update will have everything acquired. I also expanded my API key to be a fuller API key, which will help facilitate verification of the contracts when the raffle is done. EDIT: I decided not to expose emails because I didn't want the few people who have emailed me to have the exchanges public. Not because they had anything bad in them but because I didn't ask permission and it originally was assumed to be private.

I'm very happy with how this is going, and am daily doing about 200 jumps in my capsule advertising this drive. Thank you again everyone for your support!

Yesterday was a record-breaking day with one very generous soul donating 300m of the 367m. I just sent from Metistia to Newbies for Good a matching donation of 300m as promised, which takes the total raised to 1,520,623,456.78. We're still a little bit below my goal with my matching so I'm hoping we'll find another generous person or two before the 7th.

Not much else to say, I've been busy with work the last two days so my advertising definitely took a dive. I'm hoping to make a shorter trip around the universe tonight.

Work still has been killing me, thankfully I still got a 40m donation last night. I will be spending time tonight and tomorrow up until the close spreading the word one last time. I'll also be on the Twitch stream chatting under my StrongFarce moniker.

The way I plan on doing this tomorrow is: shortly after 1600 tomorrow I will create 2 sets of Chribba Dice for the total number of tickets, as well as generate a text file of ticket numbers and character names. This ticket file will be used for both raffles -- the first one running at 2200, the second one running at some point after the shirts have been delivered.

At 2200 I will unlock the first set of dice and roll them 20 times. Since each person can only win once, I'm rolling extra numbers to make sure. I'll publish the winners and contract prizes as quickly as possible (< 1hr post drawing).
