I've got this one. I have 2 accounts, my CEO has 5 or more and other corp members have multiple as well. But! We have recently gained 3 new players as members, each of whom has one account, and none of them are frightened off by our evil multiple account conspiracy.

You haven't proven that it is. You have made an assertion without providing a qualifyer to begin with, so I've nothing to disprove. Your assertions made without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

But I'll bite. I am a single account holder and my experience on EVE, though only a little under 2 years old, has been quite fulfilling. I actually fought a multiboxer the other day, solo'd his Moa and Algos, and killed them both. You can look up my KB yourself, of course, to see how thoroughly fulfilling my single account experience has been.

I would suggest that if your single account experience has been not fulfilling, you are either doing something wrong or playing the wrong game.

Just crazy talk.

IMO there's three types of players who're against multiboxing: Someone who keeps dying to what they suspect are multiboxers, or who's struggling to make income solo and resents watching multiboxers doing better. And then there's the people who dearly want to multibox but for w/e reason can't afford to do so and thus grow to resent those who can.

Just like going solo, multiboxing is what you make it. That often differs from player to player.

Advantage? **** I have more accounts than most people I play with yet I have the least ISK and am not that successful at PvP. Please explain to me this mythical advantage I have over others? An advantage that outweighs my financial investment?

Are we talking about PvP? Who cares what people with more than one account do in PvE situations. They certainly aren't killing the game.

You seem pretty ignorant of any facts. Feel free to provide some though!

A single player can massively improve their dps and abilities in pvp from multiboxing, the trade-off being that he is alot more vulnerable to changing situations.

Given two equal fleets, one a multiboxer and one a group of individual pilots, i'd put my money on the group of individuals every time.

And no, i don't live in highsec.  As if that would make your opinion any less wrong.

I prefer solo play, or at least single character play. And I don't feel that multi-boxers affects my play negatively at all. They do what they think is fun, I do what I think is fun, we are all having fun.

Then again, in the cybercafé a couple days ago, someone was playing over 60 characters at once, and he was talking how someone else was playing a thousand characters in some other game. It's a bit excessive at some point, but it's still meh. In Everquest 2 my guild had a number of multi-boxers, and they said a single group of 6 was about as many as could be run and still be, "fun".

Sooner or later someone is going to be playing an entire alliance with thousands of ships in game, and is going to be slaughtered horribly. They will probably post in GD complaining how the game is broken because some corp of 100 ships or less took him out, and that just isn't fair.
