I'm a miner in null, in a Procurer, for a split second I did the dumb thing of not looking at my local.

Two people jump in, notice and I'm on my way to warping off.

Get tackled by one, other jumps in to do the same, omg I'm dead.

Ready to die in a fire, thinking more will now jump in or that their partner is in a PWN ship.

Noticed they are both Taranis, set out drones in hopes of being a pain before I die.

Start killing one of the Taranis, omfg there is no back up.

Undock Dominix alt to warp in on their butts.

That 39k EHP tank on my mining ship, so good.

They start warping off, I stand there confused, start to giggle.

Type good fight in local.

They never reply.

I'm an idiot for getting caught, I'm giddy for getting out of it because they had poor planing.

Most miners would just freeze up and watch themselves die. You took it back to them. Gratz.

Lesson for inty pilots - probing nullified t3s still better :)

I lost hope at first, before I thought "Well I'm going to die anyway, why not put up a fight?" So glad I did, freezing up and giving up all hope, to the point I don't even try to live; would have just been the wrong choice.

Yeah, I'm not sure what I would have done if something with more HP and damage was on me. Though if they had any back up , would have been very bad for me. Could a tanked fit, Sentry Dominix even help at that point?

Now imagine what you could do with a mobile depot handy to refit a Warp Disruptor and Drone Damage Augmentors quickly, maybe a web also. And laugh evily.... Especially if you have several Procurers in belt together to have a drone ball. Interceptor pilots will learn to fear Miners.

My space is way to active to sit there and fight. I rarely see people without back up.

Its either a case.. of they thought becasue ceptors are fast they are invinceble.. to which I lol..
or they were too far ahead of any support.. to whichI lol again

But i do love it when when the ratter/miner you are going to gank puts up a fight

I just turned into an egg, did I level up? I spent an hour trying to salvage a wreck, when in local a guy said "Stop it, this is my Tempest, I was AFK"

Bollocks. I enjoy a spot of mining, but don't have any alts.
The list of ships that have got on grid but failed to catch my hulk is long and includes sabres warping to station to bubble up any runners without pings.
OP had the best tanked mining ship versus fail gank setup (2 taranis? please) AND a combat alt.

Maybe by most miners you mean most hisec adrenaline-makes-me-fat-finger sort of miners. No amount of low quality attacks or good quality defense can save them.

Kudo's for fighting back, yes Procurers really rock when it comes to being able to defend themselves.

Does railgun ammunition come in Hollow Point?

I started to undock my combat alt after they started to warp off. As soon as I retabbed to my Miner, they were disappearing off my screen.

Also you are right, being in the second tankest mining ship in the game and against fail gankers? No big deal.

Just that I didn't know they were fail and I expected to get mobbed to hell. I just thought I was going to die, it was the first time being in a fightable situation, when often it's 1v5. It was the first time since I got Tech 2 drones and Tech 2 defenses, that I've been attacked.

I admit to doing the number one mistake in null, not eyeing local like a hawk, but I'm just happy I didn't lose my ship.

I always hear stories about people multiboxing mining toons and making any would be gankers run off with their tails between their legs. I think I just got the taste of it and I'm just really hyped.

Though I'm pretty sure the game is going to get back at me for being so happy and things will go horribly, horribly wrong.

Cool headed? I had a panic attack, I don't care how cheap it was, I was filled with ice and I was in null. Each mining barge lost, is a hole in my heart....aaaand pocket

I got killed by miners once. It was a sad day for me.

I wear my goggles at night.

Any spelling/grammatical errors come complimentary with my typing on a phone

Add a mobile depot to your cargohold and web,scram, neut drone damage link and you might even have killed one :)
