Happy Thanksgiving fellow space denizens

I will be stuffing myself full of turkey, potatoes, gravy, stuffing and pie before attempting to cram myself into the confines of my pod. Then hopefully I don't pass out during fleet ops due to an overdose of trictifan (Well, maybe a little table wine too).

Everyone have a great time and enjoy yourself today :)

Also do CCP Devs do thanksgiving? And so who brings the rotten shark?

it's kind of a stupid holiday

essentially celebrating the fact that we diseased and killed all the natives

but in bad economic times like this, every excuse to cook a lot of food and be with family will be taken ^^

Actually, most of the Pilgrims were wiped out that first year due to disease and starvation.

The nefarious smallpox blankets and all that was quite a bit later on.....

....but then they really don't teach in school anymore, I know.

You are correct sir, I stand corrected :) It was indeed early AM and FYI there is nothing wrong with a little Bailey's in your coffee.

That and yesterday was the traditional busiest bar day of the year here in the states. I of course had to partake, to keep with tradition and all.

There's nothing worse than an EVE player, generally considered to be top of the food chain in the MMO world, that cannot smacktalk with wit and coherency.

I don't think there is a correct pronunciation. In fact, there's at least 10 (and I'm sure more) depending on your regional dialect.
